I found some great bargains IRL today, boots had the palace pets reduced to £3 which is a great price and they had Jasmin's Taj and Sultan which I haven't seen before and are silly prices online!

Also in Home Bargains they had Barbie Rock N Rolls Chelsea dolls for £2 and the gift sets in a bag which is also a stage with 2 dolls stands etc for £4.99. I saw the womens harry potter things which were really lovely as was all the girls body stickers I got some lovely butterflies ones for only £1.50.

Romcom · 09/09/2016 20:04

Thankyou for all the bargains so far. Many, many presents sorted, and lots of inspiration!
Random requests: anyone seen any spotty pens on their travels? As in ballpoint pens? Bit of a passion of mine Grin
Also, does anyone have a code for Very please? I'm a new customer.
Thanks!

Romcom · 09/09/2016 20:05

Oh, and I'm also looking for a dolls house for a 3 year old, like a pp. anyone get the Aldi one last year? We got the kitchen which has been fab.

GerrardWinstanley · 09/09/2016 20:07

The Smiggle advent calendar is out. Was thinking of it for DD1 but it's an eye watering £28!! For those of you who've bought them in previous years, are they worth the £££s?

DD2 would like a 'horse' advent calendar but the Schleich ones are also a dear do.

Perhaps I should scale things back to chocolate advent calendars this yearConfused

Romcom

Do you mean Asda not Aldi. We've got both the wooden kitchen and dolls house. 4 year old not too bothered by kitchen but always a big hit when friends come around. Dolls house however is one of her most played with toys. We bought the ELC furniture as they had more of a range which fits really well.

Nothing to add bargain wise but I've ordered a mermaid blanket from the links.

nickdrakeslovechild · 09/09/2016 20:20

Not bargainous but Hape do a stunning dolls house, in primary colours that I've been so tempted to get for DS. Amazon sell it IIRC. But I still have my Sylvanian Families Mansion that he likes (though it's in storage atm) that is enough, he doesn't need 2 dolls houses.

RJnomore1 · 09/09/2016 20:32

Admiral I would love the cosmetics bag with the little sizes, one of my friends gave me one a few years ago with samples (she worked in house of Fraser) and I thought it was great.

I am VERY impressed by the shark blanket too.

RJnomore1 · 09/09/2016 20:35

I really want those Santa pants gift bags !

FestiveFran · 09/09/2016 20:35

Would also love to hear from anyone who bought the Smiggle advent calendar - has to be amazing for almost £30, surely?

GardenWorm · 09/09/2016 20:39

Ooh thanks WuTang, looking forward to it (as long as there's no sewing of fingers )

Random item that was recommended by someone on here a few years back and has been well used by those who got one (including me), may be good for a foodie hamper or token gift from little person:

Lakeland £1.99 Toast Tongs

LostMyRubySlippers · 09/09/2016 20:43

wutang shark blanket looks fab- you'll have people placing orders!
All this sewing machine talk is almost tempting me to get my unopened one out of the box...! Blush

SweetPeaPods · 09/09/2016 20:46

What's the deal with beer hawk?

FeelingOutnumbered · 09/09/2016 20:51

I bought the Smiggle advent calendar last year when it was £25, but using a code from this thread I got it for £20. It was at the end of September, so maybe a code will come up in the next couple of weeks? My DD loved it and I was happy to spend £20 for what it was.

Rockchick1984 · 09/09/2016 20:54

Hollister free delivery code 4779414721686732 just got some sale bargains from there, and saved the delivery charge which is normally a fiver!

Fancythat69 · 09/09/2016 21:04

I've just bought the smuggle advent calendar for my dd, I signed up for the first time and got a code for 20% off any full price item, it worked out £26.90 inc delivery, hope this helps!

SolomanDaisy · 09/09/2016 21:10

Gerrard, last year the Schleich advent calendars got a lot cheaper on Amazon.de They have the best selection of advent calendars too!

featherpillow · 09/09/2016 21:11

Wutang that looks great.

Amazon

Inkoos Toucan £3.77

Black paper garland £1.04 I don't know if its any good for using with the chalk pens? No reviews but looks ok.

Fancythat69 · 09/09/2016 21:11

*smiggle

Fancythat69 · 09/09/2016 21:24

Also, chainreactioncycles.com have a big sale on kids bikes at the moment, use code CLEAR2016 for extra £10 off £75 spend on all sale items.

Ratbagcatbag · 09/09/2016 21:32

sweetpeapods go through quidco and get 7% cash back. If you want the advent calendar which is 24 bottles of different ales use the code advent10 which takes it down to £65.
I rang and the bottles range in size from 330ml to 575ml so no miniatures. Ordered for my dh.
Hope that helps.
