I think these have been linked to before in past years but I just bought this little pack of 6 family finger puppets for £1.32+ free delivery from Amazon. I held off buying them the last couple of years but DD is now really into play-acting out stories together so I think she'll love them in her stocking. They have pretty good reviews too!

SelfieStick · 02/09/2016 17:05

They also have a 10 pack of animal puppets too for the same price, I meant to say!

indyandlara · 02/09/2016 17:05

You guys are saving me a fortune! I have a class of 28 to buy for and it is always £££. Gliders and tattoos bought. Will get cellophane Xmas bags and keep an eye out for some other little bits to add.

HungryHorace · 02/09/2016 17:05

Thanks for the link. I've just bought some wellies for DS (two sizes up as we already have the next size!).

If anyone has their Nectar card linked to eBay there's bonus points for the weekend if you spend over a fiver.

I'm up to £45 in Nectar points and £16 in Clubcard points now which will all go towards our Christmas food and drink. 😀

Talking Unicorn.

They're cloud pets - you can download an app to record a message you can send directly to the pet from anywhere. I got the unicorn for DD from DSS - so he can send her messages while he's at his mum's.

Just wondering if anyone has already used cornerstone referral credit to buy something and how you went about it? Is everyone just leaving it there to come off the next box? It's DH birthday next week and I'm wondering if it would work to move the next delivery forward to Monday or even tomorrow and change the order to some of the other products to go with the razor. Has anyone done this? My order date for the razor was only yesterday so not sure if this is possible.

SelfieStick · 02/09/2016 17:15

I have a question about a type of present. DD really likes to brush and play with my hair, but it bloody hurts! So I was thinking of getting her one of those styling hair/head toys, like barbie or something? If anyone has bought one before...do your DCs actually play with them or are they one of those things that you buy, it gets played with once and never looked at again?

imip · 02/09/2016 17:30

I've just brought the lumi dough on high street to at the higher price. You are then offered subsequent packs at 1.49.

The eBay link is out of stock.

Looks great, that's for posting that. I have a dd with ASD and is really into play doh etc, so this is right up her ally, I got 5 packs for 8.50.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 02/09/2016 17:34

nooneyouwilleverknow is this the sort of treasure chest you mean? £1 each at the works or some reduction of buying more than 1 - buy 5 get 1 free or 14 for £12
Also the code GOLD20 from up thread apparently gives 20% off a spend of £10 or more

ladylambkin · 02/09/2016 17:50

SELFIE my daughter was the same (she used a nit comb ouch!) I bought her a styling head but she preferred my real head unfortunately.

I had one as a child and do remember the hair getting tuggy but they may be better now

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 02/09/2016 17:54

Had an email from ELC, not bargains as such but they're doing a promotion until Christmas where if you buy certain toys they'll give corresponding small toys to go with it for free. details here

ARichVernacular · 02/09/2016 17:58

GinAndSonic Lottie is a bit shorter than Barbie so could certainly move in IMO :)

SalemSaberhagen · 02/09/2016 17:58

HungryHorace · 02/09/2016 18:09

I'm impressed with the Cornerstone razor too. Definitely worth £4!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 02/09/2016 18:36

Ooh, I have something but got distracted buying a unicorn....

In M&S today I got some really Cognac truffles for £3 (normally £6). They are in date til April so if I can resist they will be a present for someone.

SestraClone · 02/09/2016 18:44

I love this bag, it's £25 in our local retro shop! Less than a tenner on Amazon

The Joules wellies arrived today - what posh packaging they come in! £6.95 for really lovely wellies is fantastic.

SestraClone · 02/09/2016 18:45

Argh, sorry, link fail!!

I'll try again!

LockingJay · 02/09/2016 18:50

Bargain hunters I've made a hideous mistake and lost the code that gave 20% off adult shoes when you bought a pair of childrens' school shoes from Clarks. Has any one got it? On a little black card with receipt. Thanks

shentok · 02/09/2016 19:00

Thanks for the treasure chest link for the works, my boys will love those with chocolate coins inside Grin

OhHolyFuck · 02/09/2016 19:02

Did I miss a deal on the tomy ice cream foam bath toy thing??
panics at the thought of bargains slipping by

SelfieStick · 02/09/2016 19:05

Thanks, lady...in that case I think I'll pass as they aren't exactly cheap.
