bus fair to iPods house!!!!!!!!!!!

harpsichordcarrier · 30/11/2006 12:11

do you know anything about him?
does he cook?
live on his own?
does he have a girlfriend?
I would probably buy something nice to eat. go to a good deli and make up a little hamper of nice pasta and sauce in a jar and stuff.
or maybe some nice stationery
but then I hang out with ponces, mainly.

I'd even pay his bus fare

PinkTinsel · 30/11/2006 12:14

just asked dp who's 26 and he said 'fags'

if he's a single 27 year old he probably has limewire so itunes would be a waste of money. have you got one of those fun gadget shops nearby, or can you find one on the net with cheap delivery? men love any wierd gadget thing

JackieNo · 30/11/2006 12:16

How about (slightly over budget) Crap Trumps .

fireflyxmasfairylights2 · 30/11/2006 12:17

I'd buy him a box of condoms if I thought he'd take it as a joke

if not, then Erm... a pen?? In a nice box?

MascaraOHaraIncredibleSheHulk · 30/11/2006 12:17

bootsmonkey · 30/11/2006 12:18

£5 worth of pick 'n' mix from Woolies, or if you have a Costco nearby a catering pack of penny sweets...

Family Guy Mug

RubberDuck · 30/11/2006 12:46

Slightly over budget again but:

Mini Desktop Casino ?

In budget:

Wacky Experiments (okay, it's aged 6+ but that's in age range for a 27 year old man, right?! )

mancmum · 30/11/2006 13:15

these are FAB ideas thanks am torn between lottery tickets (but what if he won I would not be a secret santa for long!!) or the hawkins stuff...

condoms were my first thought -- buthe just been dumped.. so maybe not!!

THANKS!!

A copy of Viz and a bag of Thorntons special toffee - he'll spend the rest of the day in the loo reading and chewing.

RubberDuck · 30/11/2006 13:51

If you've got a hawkins shop near you they've got loads more in the "Mini" range, including a mini beach in a box (which has a teeny deckchair, sand and a beach ball), mini sandcastles kit (sand and teeny tiny castle molds), mini calligraphy, etc etc... much bigger range than on their website.

Tinker · 30/11/2006 13:52

beer

Surfermum · 30/11/2006 13:55

Dh is a teensy bit older .... ok 20 years older ... but in last year's Secret Santa at our lifeguard club he got an egg cup which was a VW Beetle with a detachable roof rack and surfboard, which was a salt cellar. He loved it.
