i'm quite tempted by the chimp

I could cope w/the chimp.

But I despise Bratz b/c I think they are awful examples for young girls.

my dd1 is IN LOVE with bratz and I have bought one before(from a charity shop, what a find for £1.50}

but she wants a hideous cat thing that sits up and moves ugh apart from the fact that it's 40 quid she won't be getting it because she will be bored with it in 2 mins and it's hideous

i really like it actually and am getting it for him but for me to look after

the problem I have with bratz is their attitude and whore-like ness

the problem I have with barbie is a compleyetly unreall and unattainable body image

I hope and like to think that I can keep her attitude in check myself even though she has SOME carefully chosen bratz but that I wouldn't be able to quell her thinking that she has to look like barbie.

At least she won't try to look like a brat with huge head and feet that come off

Have you ever read the threads on here about how people still feel because they didn't get what they really wanted for Christmas. 25 years or more on they still feel the pain of being denied their heart's desires

Pretty hideous tho' isn't it and as for Bratz...

i love my monkey its not hideous,go on buy one. it puts its arms out for a cuddle, when shes got bored of it. at least you'll get a cheaper price. i ordered mine from the local newspaper shop to pay weekly and and then the ones in the shops went down in price and i lost out so my monkey is well expensive

my ds has been asking for this chimp since last year. He is animal mad and would love it soooooooo much.

I'm 36 and still feel bitter about the fact I did not get my Mr Frosty. That said I would not buy it for DD if she asked for it as it is plastic crap!

When my DD asked for a Bratz, I just said "No thanks I have enough Brats at home!" It took her a while to get it but she doesnt ask anymore

I've bought Operation for the girls entirely on the grounds that I never got one myself. dh says I have to take it back cos they're too young for it.
