Father Christmas only brings little things to this house - sweets, pencils, new pants and socks etc.

meanie Mummy gets to choose everything else and, fortunately, mine are still a bit too young to ask for anything specific except for everything that is advertised on Nick Jr

(Hoping they will have forgotten it all by Christmas day anyway )

My worst year was when ds1, then 6, wanted a REAL magic wand, one that actually worked! I kept explaining that they weren't made but he kept replying, "But Santa's magic, he'll be able to get me one!"
