So lets try and fill this one instead :D

Just bought Playmobil 123 Sleigh and Manger set at Toys R Us, plus Pony Advent Calendar at £9.96 - no ordinary Playmobil Christmas sets left unfortunately!

Nearlyadoctor · 12/07/2015 15:11

Also today bought Radley Leather handbag down from £219 to £109.50 in John Lewis, also had £20 of loyalty gift vouchers so £89.50, so that's mums present sorted. Lots of lovely bags with good reductions in John Lewis or specifically Radley on their own Radley website with free delivery and returns. Smile

FunHouseGrandPrix · 12/07/2015 17:31

Thanks for the Orchard Toys game link on Amazon. I was also too late for the Playmobil, it has gone back up to £15 now

Nearlyadoctor · 12/07/2015 18:03

Professor Layton game for 3ds £4.98 in Argos - in store only but can click and collect. £31.99 to order online - bizarre, was also reduced on Amazon but not as cheap unless you have prime.

andadietcoke · 12/07/2015 21:58

Not present-y really but Home Bargains had Spanx for £3.99. I think I paid about £40 for mine.

Picked up a few Disney collapsible water bottles for 69p each - they're on Amazon for about £3. Thought they'd be good party bag presents.

Physionic · 13/07/2015 14:14

Thanks for the toys r us heads up. Just managed to reserve (for click and collect) the Playmobil nativity set for £6.16, normally about £27

NewMrsX · 13/07/2015 19:32

De-lurking to say thank you to whoever mentioned the Christmas Playmobil at Toys R Us. Managed to pick up 4 different sets for £22. Like a pp though only 1 was available through click and collect online so it's worth popping in to check if it's local

janx · 13/07/2015 21:19

Anyone seen dr who bargains?

50ShadesofXmas · 14/07/2015 13:51

In Wilkinsons, they have reduced their "make your own...." to just pence! I bought 3 items for £1.20.
Bargain for stocking fillers or school friend presents for dc.

Space NK has a sale on. I've ordered some stuff online, I remember getting bits and pieces this time last year - they're were a big hit Smile

scrappydappydoo · 14/07/2015 20:21

Is anyone thinking about doing the Amazon prime trial just for tomorrow. Can't decide whether to use my free trial now or just before Christmas..

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 14/07/2015 20:35

I think you would be better off waiting till black Friday or xmas if using a free trial.... it says More deals than black Friday so not necessarily better ones! nothing particularly great showing on the preview items yet.

dp wants a ps4 so looking for a great deal on one if anyone's seen any? not holding out hope on a deal with amazon tomorrow!

cookiefiend · 14/07/2015 21:23

I have an Amazon account and so does DH so that is two free trials a year. So you could use one now and one in November.

daddykyller · 14/07/2015 23:06

You can always use a little trick to get another months trial for free.
Just go to the Prime Free Trial page and sign up again with a new email address :)
Gmail or yahoo mail etc. take about 1 minute to create a new email address with.
I've just done it myself. Hoping it will live up to the hype tomorrow, (there are actually some deals starting at midnight by the looks of it on their Lightning Deals page too)

BatFoxHippo · 15/07/2015 08:22

Just sgned up for prime as I needed to get a few cheap things and then got something else I needed to replace in the deals. Looked through the rest of the day and the toys are really poor! About 4 things! Did they add more stuff during the day for Black Friday?

cookiefiend · 15/07/2015 08:42

They added more stuff during the day for Black Friday. I may buy the gift cards. Spend £50 get a£10 code off everything Amazon sell to be redeemed by the end of August. I can then use the vouchers to buy gifts.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 15/07/2015 09:07

the deals aren't looking great tbh - there was some duplo early this morning but only 20% off.

I've bought a lego mug at 12.30 last night and currently waiting for the wooden hangers in 20 mins! debating on buying the amazon fire stick for the tv in our bedroom. ..

cookiefiend · 15/07/2015 09:32

Yeah be careful- check the price history of an item on camel camel camel before you buy it. Lots of things are not that well priced.

candykane25 · 15/07/2015 09:38

Hada quick look at the amazon prime day - its not particularly obvious where all the discounts are but i searched for a little tikes cosy coupe car and got it on prime for 39.99 which was 27% off so got that for DDs birthday next month.

BatFoxHippo · 15/07/2015 09:53

I really hate the layout, why so many different sections?

PLaymobil childrens disco 12.99

GerrardWinstanley · 15/07/2015 13:57

Bit underwhelmed by Prime day apart from have got a 16GB no promotions Kindle Fire for £89 for DH. Normally £139. Really pleased as I'd considered getting one for his birthday but baulked at the price

Reignbeau · 15/07/2015 14:21

There's a few toys half price at argos here

Kraggle · 15/07/2015 15:27

I've bought a couple of things on prime day, a Melissa and Doug shape sorter clock and mega sketcher for my nieces birthday in November and the 22 piece play dough set with cutters. And another fire stick for upstairs!

daddykyller · 15/07/2015 20:13

There's a double-whammy code and sale you can do...

There's a 50% off sale on at The Disney Store
AND you can use the code R39487DT6L2HB to get a further 25% off.
No idea how long that code lasts for, but I've seen it 2 different places. Oe saying ends tonight one saying tomorrow.

RockySpeed · 15/07/2015 21:21

nocutsnobutts we bought a PS4 in the tesco clubcard boost a month or so ago. £5 of points was boosted to £10 so we basically got it for half price Smile
