As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

I've been a bit rubbish and not updated from last thread. But things are settling down for Christmas now so I'm working on the basis it's more a share of sales bits coming up/how the presents went down on the big day.

Sylvanian fish and chip van £15 on John Lewis clearance which is half price. I bought a tassimo for work for £35 from John Lewis too and they had small sylvan in like figures for £2 each with accessories and I have ordered 4 of them.

RJnomore · 14/01/2015 12:27

Bit late sorry but boots 70 percent off sale started today.

Online is almost totally sold out but I was at my local one before 9 and they had cages and cages of stock they were still putting out. Might be worth a look.

margaritasbythesea · 14/01/2015 13:15

If you are passing a B and M today it might be worth going in. I got a Barbie puppy grooming salon and a big bush along tractor in there today for £1 each. I think it will be pretty random what is available and they are not on the website.

dingit · 14/01/2015 13:18

I've just come back from the boots sale with loads of goodies. I'm particularly please with the Taylor Swift perfume set for £6, and Top Gear set for £4. There was a lot there, but only so much I could carry. I now have a well stocked present cupboard Smile

margaritasbythesea · 14/01/2015 13:31

push along tractor!

youngfish · 14/01/2015 17:28

Managed to get a big online order at Boots at 4am this morning! Went along to my local store in the afternoon but they only had fragrance sets left (not a good present buy for my family, they only use one fragrance at a time and take a year to use up a bottle!).

zipzap · 14/01/2015 18:10

I went into boots without realising it was mad sale day - until I got about 2 steps in!

I was going to get present for dh's birthday (today) yes I know that's cutting it a bit fine!! so was able to top it up with assorted other bits and bobs cheaply which was good!

What was naughty of them though was having displays of stuff that looked like they were in the sale but actually weren't. Poor people on the till were wearily asking if we knew xxx wasn't in the sale - invariably people said no, I'll leave it behind them - leaving them with a massive pile of stuff to take back to the shelves. At least they were pointing it out - I think their managers were hoping people would just buy it regardless!

On a better note the thorntons nearby had lots of stuff on sale including a £13.50 box of 350g wrapped continental chocs for £5.40 and dates well into April and may.

dingit · 14/01/2015 19:34

Zip zap, you're clearly not from a classy place. The shelves were clearly marked, it was busy but everyone was surprisingly civil, in wait for it - CROYDON Grin

billiejeanbob · 15/01/2015 18:31

debenhams have a really good 70% off sale. I was just in there looking at clothes for the dcs but picked up -
my friend cayla £18
mlp Kingdom palace £13
2 nerf guns £3
large mlps £5

MsAspreyDiamonds · 16/01/2015 13:26

Thanks to the poster with the Dotcom gift shop tip off. i ordered the following:
x2 Moroccan tea light glasses £4.99
x 15 Rabbit trinket boxes at 39p each - bargain
x 15 Pirate trinket boxes
x 10 stickers at 10p a sheet
x 2 rubbers at 10p a pack
x1 set of gift boxes for £1.99

I am ready for next years birthday party bag fillers now. The trinket boxes are really substantial size so I don't need much else after that.

I have bought lots this year at bargainous prices thanks to the tip offs on this threads so thanks to everyone.

WUME · 17/01/2015 08:39

Hello bargain hunters Smile

I wonder if any of you have seen any Minecraft bargains about? Dd1's birthday is on Sunday & neither of the local printing shops will print a Minecraft image on a Primarni hoodie so I need something else Smile

Reastie · 19/01/2015 14:53

Hi all,

Did some end of sales shopping today in RL and got some good bits. Best bargains were I got a snowman and snowdog duvet set in M&S down from £35 to £12 and they had lots of end of clearance clearance bits in TK Maxx including some children's books down to 30p Shock

Nix01 · 21/01/2015 12:36

Just wanted to let you know that all leftover xmas stock at wilko is 20p. I've just bought loads including 3 x 2 ft trees for somewhere! Worthwhile for ribbons and ornaments.

margaritasbythesea · 21/01/2015 14:26

I have just had another supermarket sweep at B and M. They seem to be doing some serious clearance. I got a Chou Chou doll for £5.00, and lots of toys for £1.00 - Steffi playsets, table top plastic art easels in Minnie and Spiderman, baby dolls, a TMNT pinball machine, a Mr Tumble phonics electronic toy. I think it is pretty random. I went in the other day and there was nothing for £1.00; today tonnes!

zipzap · 21/01/2015 14:39

lucysmam My local sainsburys had Minecraft calendars reduced down to 50p the other day - they were nice big ones, I ended up buying one each for my dc (they were both with me) as they were arguing over whose room it would go up in! Amazing pictures of minecraft creations that must have taken days and have made the dc want to spend even more time on minecraft [tears hair out smiley]

MooseyMoo · 22/01/2015 20:48

I went into Sainsburys today and got the Lego Movie Cloud Cuckoo Land set for £9. Also the Lego Creator Twin Rotorblades for £6.50. It's nation wide deal. There were some zzz Lego Stsr Wars reduced but not half price.

Groovester · 22/01/2015 23:09

Hi everyone

I was in Poundworld today and they had Horrid Henry easy reader books. They retail at £4.99 so a pound each is a bargain. My local store had 5 different titles available. My DS loves them so I scooped them up. Only problem is I've already given them to him. I think I will go back to pick some up for my present cupboard!
