No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

The cat is used to it, she gets mauled, cuddled, faces rubbed in her coat ect on a daily basis. They like to lie on the mini trampoline together Smile

Evening all. Just been on to Disney rewards to order some DVDs with the rewards code I only know about due to this thread.

They are currently offering everything that's on sale cheap-ish (£6.99 in stores) for 100 points - which is 1 DVD worth of points.

I've just ordered Snow White, mulan, sleeping beauty and bambi for 100 points each plus a tinker bell DVD for 500. I'm assuming that I'll get 100 points for each of these when I enter the codes so I'll get something else for free when they arrive.

Very happy so Thanks to whoever mentioned this in the first place!

Rugbylovingmum · 06/12/2014 23:30

Elvish- aren't the 100reward point things just the new design covers not the actual dvd. You can just buy them for DVDs you already have.

Lurleene · 06/12/2014 23:43

Elvish - I'm afraid Rugbylovingmum is right. I just went on the site after you posted and ordered a Peter Pan, then realised too late is was just a decorative sleeve. I have asked them to cancel my order, fingers crossed they do!

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2014 23:51

Is the christmas radio times out yet? Forgot to look today.

daddykyller · 07/12/2014 02:21

I know these things have been out a few months and haven't really dropped at all in price, but they are 40% off right now:

Minecraft Light-Up Diamond Ore

making them £17.99 with free delivery.
Has anyone else seen them cheaper?, as I was going to get one for my son, but still seems a bit pricey

Earlytorise · 07/12/2014 06:00

Got some lighters for my candles yesterday from Poundland in nice festive designs (3 in a pack all different). Could be good as part of a novelty gift for a smoker, someone who is doing the cooking this Christmas or you're giving candles to (unpackaged though as packaging is basic).

Has anyone spotted any good deals on batteries? I need AAA, AA and 9V this year.

Also, has anyone seen any slippers/slipper socks with a central pom pom on them at the front, in children's sizes? Apologies for asking again, the thread was moving so fast at one stage I couldn't even find my original post or any in answer to it Blush

Try Maplins for batteries. I always buy them in bulk from there.

janx · 07/12/2014 09:10

Am going to do a photo calendar for my mum. Is snap fish any good?

WildFlowersAttractBees · 07/12/2014 09:12

If you have a co-op card remember to use it this month... I have won two tubs of quality street this week with their advent swipe giveaway. I only bought a loaf and milk!

GreenEyedMonster14 · 07/12/2014 09:12

Charls trywhitt have just sent me another £10 voucher so it might be worth checking your email.

supermariossister · 07/12/2014 09:16

I bought the Kirkland batteries from Costco last week around £10 for 48 they seem pretty good I've had them in the battery operated lights and they seem to be lasting.

BetsyM00 · 07/12/2014 09:30

janx I've always used Snapfish - the classic calendar is lovely and glossy, whenever I looked elsewhere, they only had a matt finish.

Codes available until the end of tomorrow are:
40% off 1 calendar 2BXMAS14
50% off 2 calendars 2CXMAS14
60% off 3 calendars 2DXMAS14
70% off poster calendars 2AXMAS14

plus cashback through Quidco.

stripes1 · 07/12/2014 13:31

Are there any debenhams codes at the moment (other than toys on the OP)? Thanks.

emmelinelucas · 07/12/2014 14:41

To the poster asking about Womdee scarves - they are beautiful and great quality. I have bought 10 this year, though I will put some away for birthday presents.
They did take a while to arrive, though, so I wouldn't depend on getting them in time for Christmas.

emmelinelucas · 07/12/2014 14:44

Early - the pound shop are great for batteries. I stock up now and again.

janx · 07/12/2014 14:51

Thanks BetsyMoo -that a job for me to do for tonight

GerbilsAteMyCat · 07/12/2014 16:25

Why not get rechargeables instead?
Ones like these
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B003CL8MQS/ref=s9_ps_hm_bTC9iR_d26_g23_i2
work out cheaper and better for the environment in the long run.

temporaryusername · 07/12/2014 16:56
