No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I must be mad I'm currently on a train to glasgow for a day out shopping lunching and visiting girls day out with my friend. Arranged months ago to accommodate childcare work etc so did we realise it was the Shopping Day of Doom?

Anyway if I never see you again it's been a blast the last few years...

afreshstartplease · 28/11/2014 09:51

Hmm I missed the mip robot on toys r us

Do you reckon it'll come back at same price £39 or should I just pay for the teksta trex I have in my basket on amazon for 30

happsymum · 28/11/2014 10:02

If anyone sees any deals on the Lego friends dolphin cruiser please shout out to me! £43 seems the best I can find but hoping out there for less and I don't find bargains the same as you all seem to :) thanks!

SagaNorensSnowflakeTrousers · 28/11/2014 10:06

Does anyone have a good review on a cheap watch for ds (8)? He's decided he wants a "grown up" looking one, so cheapy character ones are out. I can't really spend more than £8-10 but want to try and get something that won't break after 5 seconds. Digital would be best. TIA!

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 28/11/2014 10:07

Love it afresh 2 mins of dithering Xmas Grin.

I just said to DP about me going shopping - 'its Black Friday today' He looked Confused and asked what Black Friday was! Clearly he's never had to worry about shopping and bargain hunting as I do it all! Xmas Hmm

afreshstartplease · 28/11/2014 10:11

No no i started at 9.51 so it was almost ten mins I promise

OohOod · 28/11/2014 10:19

I'm listening to dh (bit of a technophobe) explain Black Friday to my mum (total technophobe) , it's quite hilarious.

OohOod · 28/11/2014 10:19

Callofthewild · 28/11/2014 10:21

After dithering for about an hour I decided to get the ipad mini from JL for DH for Christmas. Am just a bit concerned that it's the "original" one and the ipad mini 3 is now out ConfusedWill it become obsolete quickly? Also I managed to pay and got an order number on the website but I've not had a confirmation email come through?

LittleMissGreen · 28/11/2014 10:21

Saga I often buy DS1 digital watches for £10 in Argos, they don't break he just tends to lose them. His current one is bright yellow and black but they have loads to chose from instore. Sorry can't link as Argos webpage is overcrowded.

SagaNorensSnowflakeTrousers · 28/11/2014 10:23

Dear GOD, someone just posted a video on FB of customers at our local Tesco going crazy trying to grab TVs from each other, one lady trying to pull it out of a bloke's hands whilst he's dragging her and the TV away. Grin

SagaNorensSnowflakeTrousers · 28/11/2014 10:24

Thanks, Little I nearly bought him one from Argos but wanted to check here first as wasn't too sure if there were better options out there. Will check them out again... when I can! Thanks

BrucieTheShark · 28/11/2014 10:26

Teksta T-rex tat on tesco direct for £30 if anyone is after that.

imalostcause · 28/11/2014 10:28

bobs123 · 28/11/2014 10:31

SagaNorens I wanna see the video (while sitting in warm comfy house with all pressies bought) Smile

Will watch the news at lunch....

Badvocinapeartree · 28/11/2014 10:35

Kindle hdx is £100 off!

SagaNorensSnowflakeTrousers · 28/11/2014 10:39

bats the funniest part is that's a shit make of TV...I think people just jump on the ol' bandwagon and get swept up in the thrill of a deal.

SagaNorensSnowflakeTrousers · 28/11/2014 10:44

bobs rather! Sorry!

andadietcoke · 28/11/2014 10:48

Just realised I still haven't had a confirmation for the telegraph beauty box. Anyone else?

bobs123 · 28/11/2014 10:50

Grin at bats Saga - quite appropriate atm for me!!!

Yes I do wonder how much of a con it all is - stores trying to get rid of old stock etc.

The only thing I need is a laptop for DD (tho it's not really needed for Christmas, just thought t would be a good time to buy)
The Currys/PC World offerings are rubbish. there are better on non Black Friday offerings!
