No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

This is it, this is the thread that should take us into December Xmas Grin

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

Dranksangriainthepark (I found out how to do bold just for you) Flowers Thank you so much! That's a great alternative to try. I just cancelled my order for a bag I didn't much like from White Stuff (who also charged me £4 P and P) and got an eau du parfum and a matching shower gel (and a cheeky hand cream for me to take it over £25) from Yves R alongside a very mystery free gift....something for my 'wrinckles'. What a shockingly terrible website though. Horrible to browse! But I am not complaining. Thank you again!

spinningirl10 · 03/12/2014 15:14

Hi, has anyone seen a discount code for Molton Brown please or found it on offer anywhere? My mum loves the hand cream and wash.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 03/12/2014 15:24

Eco- you're welcome! I only rediscovered YR last year thanks to these threads, it's really nice stuff for the price though.

(the mystery skincare gift should be the Crème Riche if it's the same as last year, it's lovely)

Toot Toot garage is down to £20 from £43 atm on amazon but be quick!

Wiifitmama · 03/12/2014 15:57

I have a question about a bargain on amazon that I am hoping someone can help with. I needed a 2ds for my son and saw a bundle one on there with mario bros for £89. Sold by Amazon directly but out of stock. I ordered it anyway as it was then cheapest I had seen anywhere. I have email confirmation of the price I ordered it for and it is still showing on my orders page, but not with a delivery date yet. It is now not on amazon anywhere for that price. So, my question is do they have to stick to the price I ordered its Ron hen they fulfil my order? I have searched their help system and can't find any information about it. With pre orders, they guarantee the price will not go up but I am less sure about this.

Elvish · 03/12/2014 16:15

I've not got a code spinningirl but it's free delivery from the MB website this weekend.

MooseyMoo · 03/12/2014 16:15

WUME How about this flower keyring

Iggi999 · 03/12/2014 16:23

Who wanted seamonkeys a while back? A triop set (pretty much same as seamonkeys I think) is 5.49 in argos at the moment, half price.

NorksEnormous · 03/12/2014 16:31

Oh that was me iggi!! Thank you!!

MindReader · 03/12/2014 16:40

Can I ask 2 Qu's of you wise bargain hunters pls?

  1. I really need a mini IPad to help ds who has literacy issues. There are loads of great Apps that might help that you can only get via IPad. I missed the Black Friday offers due to poorly kids but just wondered if anyone knew the best deal currently available (still way too much prob, but would like to know?)
  1. I went to MATALAN today to collect my FrozenAnna dress. There were big 20% signs everywhere but it turns out it's only for those who've scanned their App and my phone is too old and basic. They've got some great deals over next few days but they're all for App customers? Does anyone know if there are Codes for lesser mortals, pls?

thank you in advance if anyone can advise? Thanks

Jenni2legs · 03/12/2014 17:10

MoltenPink hello, where oh where is the giftwrap option on Clinique? Please and thank you xx

gailforce1 · 03/12/2014 17:16

Please could someone help me with buying one of the special offers on Amazon. I have tried and failed to buy a bottle of whiskey because it sold out immediately it became available and I could not even get onto the waiting list!! Is there a secret to getting an item that sells out so quickly you don't have time to click on it?! TIA

AuntieMaggie · 03/12/2014 17:29

Does anyone know if I can use boots points on their 3 for 2 gifts?

OhCuntmasTree · 03/12/2014 18:01

As long as youve got enough for the total spend you can use your points for anything except prescriptions stamps and formula. So if you've got £20 and your 342 comes to say £18, then you can use them, but if it came to £21 you wouldn't be able to use them.

marne2 · 03/12/2014 18:17

Mindreader, I think John Lewis still have iPads at a reasonable price , not quite as low as blackfriday but cheaper then elsewhere. They are worth every penny, we got one funded for dd ( a bigger ipad ) a few years ago, she used it as a communication aid and to help her with maths and literacy, it has been a God sent. We managed to buy a iPad mini ( so I don't have to keep pinching dd's ) on Black Friday. I hope you manage to find a good deal.

FluffyRedSocks · 03/12/2014 18:21

Just done a stock take and realised im running seriously low on decent stocking fillers for dp, he's got some funny crappy bits, and his main present, but no decent crap stuff if you know what I mean.. Help!!!?? Ideas?!

dancingwitch · 03/12/2014 18:25

Spent 2 hrs in traffic to get to a "big" town & do RL shopping, walked past Lakeland with a nagging feeling that I needed to go in & it's not until I'm home & reading this that I remember the Christmas pasta. My DC's children is ruined, I tell you, ruined ignores the fact that the DC don't know Xmas pasta even exists let alone were expecting to have it, that DC2 refuses to eat any pasta than penne obviously also ignoring issues relating to greed, poverty, hunger & other things that make this a completely first world problem

0898 · 03/12/2014 18:29

The List have a £60 voucher for Naked Wines which is usable on their mystery mixed cases. A mixed case of 12 of their luxury wines costs about £50 and has just sorted out DM and her partner

Dogmatix34 · 03/12/2014 18:36

That Clinique offer is great, thanks molten. My snapfish order has come. It is so lovely, can't believe how nicely it has come out. Wierd question but has anyone seen the pink knitted hat, glove and scarf set in Sainsburys (£10) and seen what size it goes up to? I bought 7-10 for my cousin and have realised that will be too small. I'll change it for bigger if that exists but can't be bothered to go back if not! My DD can have it!

Waitingonasunnyday · 03/12/2014 18:38

Fluffywhitesocks: local beer? Headphones? My DH hates presents for the sake of opening and so only has 2 presents, I feel very mean not getting him more.

Waitingonasunnyday · 03/12/2014 18:40

Dogmatix, you might get lucky but usually I can't find any hats or gloves in Sainsbury's kids large enough for DS (he's 9 but has a big head).

Howaboutthisone · 03/12/2014 18:49

Hello! I haven't been on for a while as you were all making me twitch far too many times!

Wondering if anyone can help me. I really want to get DH a subscription for homebuilding and renovating magazine but can't find it for less than £37. Just wondering if anyone has ideas of where I can find it cheaper/ how to make it cheaper?

Dogmatix34 · 03/12/2014 18:52

Thanks waiting, I think you're right. Bugger! Thought I'd finished. May just get her a small adult set.

FourAndDone · 03/12/2014 18:59
