mandmsmummy · 03/12/2014 12:19

norbert love the key pete but they are shipped from Hong Kong so may not get here! have you found June in this country at that price? Xx

BettyBitesBums · 03/12/2014 12:22

Eco how about a spice subscription (I think there was a code for the Spicery knocking around somewhere) and you could buy a tiffin tin to go with it?

Or a nice lunch bag/box with some of her favourite food bits in it?

Or if you want to stretch your budget there's a company called Betty and Betts that do fair trade leather stuff and their wallet is gorgeous but it's £49 and there's no bargain to be had

Waitingonasunnyday · 03/12/2014 12:23

White Stuff are out of stock online of the thing I've been waiting to buy with 20% discount Sad and nearest shop isn't allowed to put one by for me as I can't get there today Sad

WUME · 03/12/2014 12:28

I wouldn't order from H&M if you need anything this side of Christmas you'll be lucky to get it before 2016

Nix01 · 03/12/2014 12:40

I can't recall if I've previously asked, but I'm looking for some stylish touchscreen gloves for my DH. Any recommendations?

bookwormbeagle · 03/12/2014 12:41

Me too Nix - preferably under £10 ish. Not asking too much surely Grin will post back if I come across any.

AFingerofFudge · 03/12/2014 12:47

I feel your pain sunnyday - they're out of stock on the one item I want also!! Let's try and think of the money we're saving, just like missing out on the lindor balls yesterday.......

er no, didn't work Sad

WUME · 03/12/2014 12:50

Last Christmas dd1 got a cheap plastic flower keyring in her cracker.

She was over the moon and promptly attached it to her bookbag.

The other day she was telling me how she had had it almost a year and was still as pleased as punch with it.

And then some little shit at school deliberately pulled it off Angry Dd1 was upset and so I want to find a replacement for her stocking.

I don't want to pay a lot incase its pulled off again.

Does anyone know where I can get a (pref sparkly) flower keyring?

306235388 · 03/12/2014 12:56

WUME

pricey?

WUME · 03/12/2014 13:01

That's lovely, but it may be a bit much for her bookbag

Waitingonasunnyday · 03/12/2014 13:05

I bought lots of touch screen gloves, it depends how you define stylish, these were more 'basic' but only 66p each at the time

They work though, and black goes with anything right?

Waitingonasunnyday · 03/12/2014 13:06

WUME how about a sneaky bit of embroidery on her book bag, I assume she is quite young? My DC liked having a secret logo/keyring/whatever on an inside flap.

ecofreckle · 03/12/2014 13:07

Wildflowers and Betty thank you Flowers. I know she loves Neroli perfume by L'Occitane but they have discontinued it! A bag is a good idea....had a look on White Stuff and nothing jumps out....where else might be good for bags? Hhmmm.... I have got her a lovely cake tin Betty that I'm going to fill with almond biscotti and have also got things for her stocking, it's just the main event that remains elusive. I'll go search bags (and wallets!) a bit more. Thanks both

bookwormbeagle · 03/12/2014 13:19

Thank you waiting it's for my DH who works outside, therefore I've decided to upgrade him to a super warm pair from totes (can't add link as I'm on mobile - but they're the SmarTouch chunky knit men's ones reduced to £12. Perfect.

BettyBitesBums · 03/12/2014 13:20

Not this neroli one? They've got a free gift over £50 on the l'occitane website, not sure if there's any other codes.

ecofreckle · 03/12/2014 13:20

Oh, and Nix, Tkmaxx (I am not sponsored by them) had lovely touch screen gloves in last week, around the £10 mark.

Betty, I looked at Betty and Betts. A crime when I'm devoted to this thread. So lovely!

Iggi999 · 03/12/2014 13:35

Moltenpink, thanks for the Clinique tip, buying some now (wondering too if I can try again with another order!)

curlingandtwirling · 03/12/2014 13:50

Jack Wills have £20 off all hoodies HERE

rosiebg · 03/12/2014 13:50

NHSDEC20 gives 20% discount at Disneystore if spending over £50 - not sure if frozen is excluded as with some of the other offers.

Petallic · 03/12/2014 13:58

North Face touch screen gloves £15 instead of £30. m.blacks.co.uk/mens/100504-the-north-face-mens-etip-gloves-black.html

I bought them yday online -Blacks don't seem to have set their discount code right so you get them half price without having to buy second item Smile

DrankSangriaInThePark · 03/12/2014 13:59

Yves Rocher Neroli

www.yves-rocher.co.uk/control/searchresult?query=SECRETS%20D%27ESSENCES%20NEROLI&channel=en_GB

I have the perfume set and it's lovely. You would also qualify for the free gift worth £50 Shock so she could have the £47 face cream to go with it!

GerrardWinstanley · 03/12/2014 14:06

GerrardWinstanley · 03/12/2014 14:11

for whoever was looking for cheap but large boxes of thornton's. Not sure how cheap or large you need but I noticed that Aldi have these boxes at £4.99. Half normal price and have sold out on the Thorntons website.
