wrapping presents

If you have more that 1 child do you wrap their presents in different wrapping paper so you can tell them apart easily?
I've got 3 dc and normally just wrap everything in all sorts of different wrapping paper. I thought this year though I may wrap each child's presents in one type to make it easier on Christmas eve, but I don't want it to look a bit boring (if a load of presents could look boring

I've only got one dd but I've used different paper for stocking, Christmas eve hamper and tree presents, I don't think it would be boring at all!

I have 3 DCs, their pressies are wrapped in different colour schemes. Nice and easy to differentiate but not dull to look at. Works for us.

Just one child but I buy three types of paper so that DS, DH and I can easily spot our own presents with no need for gift tags. I save a large box from a delivery and leave it by the tree the night before to put the discarded paper in so it can go straight out to the recycling. No missing small presents that way.

I have six dc and buy 7 different designs of wrapping paper. One for each dc, and one for dh/ relatives.

I've tried both (3dc) and think the all mixed up (3 separate piles) looks best. Own paper looks a bit too obviously "done by mum not by Santa" I reckon.

We have only 1 DD, so not an issue for us, yet. But AFAI can remember, my mum used to wrap each person's in a different colour. So we could have lots of bright paper under the tree but no arguments/forgetting. And rather than ripping into a massive pile for each person, they were passed out individually so we could each see what everyone got. It was nice.

I have 2 DC and will be using brown paper for the 1st time, I will use personalised Santa stickers with the children's name on it x

The 3 dc will have different stocking paper to each other, so they can easily see on Christmas morning when they all jump on our bed to open everything.
Everything under the tree is in different paper (not the same kind as the stockings obviously) as I buy about 30 rolls over Christmas (huge families and we buy for everyone) and just pick up what I like when I see it.
I don't do themes, prefer the mad colours all clashing under the tree.

Different paper for all, other wise I would have a panic about some peoples looking less even though I would have done that loads before even wrapping
Also think that means people get more involved with the whole being interested in other peoples gifts rather than just ripping into their own.
Also what is I run out of one persons paper, so I would have to massively overstock on all, rather than wrapping, finish role start a new one.
Too much faff for me.

Different colour for each of the 3 Dcs. Saves the faff of gift tags falling off.

Random, with stickers rather than gift tags. Our colour theme for Christmas is "explosion in a paint factory". I don't use separate paper for stocking presents either.

From FC I get paper with his image on it, for older dc use more glam gold one from ikea for younger sweeter red one from ikea with FC on.

Last year I put both sets of presents separately on either side of tree...not sure whether to do that this year and mix them up?

I have since decided my dc don't give a stuff about the paper so what's the point!

Mine don't either and I really don't do the tasteful look at Christmas, cheap and colourful paper for us.

3 DC , each has their own paper for stockings, to avoid mix ups.
Everything under the tree is wrapped in that year's theme. I've just bought red,green and purple holographic paper and satin ribbon and will mix up the colours to create a big riotous pile.
Not actually bought any gifts yet though!

I have one DS and Santa gifts which are stocking gifts come in his favourite colour paper. All his gifts under the tree from us and grandparents (which I get asked to buy) come in different paper but are obviously his because I use paper that he would like eg christmas soldiers, Rudolph with shiny nose , frosty the snowman etc and the adult gifts get tasteful stripy paper or snowflakes or similar.

5DC and I use 3-4 different types of paper per child,it does help make it a bit easier.

3dds here and I usually match wrapping paper to each year's tree theme, I use around 3/4 differt styles and put a sticker on each gift with dds names and 2 xx's. We put all there presents into 3 piles on Christmas eve though so they have a clear pile each.

I like the idea of brown paper to wrap the presents. I might do this and customise with some ribbon and glitter

Nic I did that last year, brown paper, and some with gorg ribbon some with glitter on, I loved doing it and I am not crafty at all.

I use three different papers... one from father Christmas, one for us all and one for friends and family. All papers obviously co-ordinate (because I am nutty that way!).

I buy 3 for 2 rolls and choose a paper for each child, 1 for DH and another for family/friend. I have virtually finished my shopping though so if I run out of a particular paper I can nip back to the same shop.
This year I found some personalised paper on ebay to use for small stocking presents.

I do brown paper every year and different beautiful ribbon. It makes life so much easier (one big roll of brown paper instead of masses of different ones, no panicking about running out of one type or the tags etc).

We only have one child atm but customising with different coloured ribbons instead of tags is a great idea!

eBay sell huge rolls of brown packing paper inexpensively and much cheaper than I have found in any stationers.

I usually use lots of different papers with stickers instead of tags then put them in seperate piles on either side of the tree. Stocking presents and 1 present from Santa are in different santa paper tho
