Stocking fillers for men...

Ideas? I'd like to find a site that sells 'not too expensive' fillers that aren't just utter junk that waste our finances....i.e. crappy items like the chocolate boobs or 'health warning toilet paper' which would be fitting you put in the Secret Santa at work. So far I've got an engraved Keyring on the way which was a fiver...

What do people get their DHs/DPs?

I'd like to make my DP an advent calendar this year so he has a little something to open every day (he's too impatient to wait for 25th so we always end up opening half our presents early!)

No ideas, but I'm place marking.

I did buy him some cufflinks from Not On The High Street, that might be a good place to start?

I need help with this too! Trying to avoid tat that gets a smile but ultimately ends up in the bin but don't want it to be boring.

Im stuck with this too. I've already used my budget for DP's presents but I'm sewing DD a stocking so I'm going to make him a secret one too and fill it with bits from DD.

So far I've got some CK boxer shorts reduced to a tenner and that's it. I don't want to spend much but don't want to buy useless crap.

The only other thing I can think of is sweets or chocolate

Good ideas so far! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want to literally throw money away! I'm off to the hand picked collection....

Things I have put in in the past, let me think.
Mini Green and Blacks/other naice choc in different flavours
Good quality socks (I know, yawn)
A little tin of plasters with ninjas on (he used to work with scalpel blades in his hobby!)
Miniature aftershave
Miniature bourbon
A nice smelling candle for his man shed (something gingery-lemony)
Usually something silly ie a miniature model of Starbug from Red Dwarf, or a toy lorry with his name on the side from one of those gift shop 'find your kids name' racks.
There are lots more but my brain's had the plug pulled it seems.

Magazine is a good one. I've added a cycling magazine to the list!

I struggle with socks as my DP is a size 12/13 and most places only go up to an 11 Any ideas where would be good for some nice socks for him? He wanted merino wool cycling socks but they aren't cheap!

I'm adding to my own thread here, but a 'man tin' or 'man coinage and pocket fluff' tray is cool - I think I'm going to get the latter. (Amazon)

Like the lottery ticket idea.

My DH likes Scott Nicholls stripey socks but might be a bit OTT for some!

Problem I find with some websites is that you pay a fortune for delivery, so if you only want one or two things, it's too expensive. I search the catalogues then try to find cheaper on ebay!

Boxers (TK Maxx do boxes of Calvins pretty cheap)
Ties- assuming your DH wears ties for work (again- TK Maxx do ones like Ted Baker very reasonably)

eBay sell blank photo fridge magnets in different size packs for you to add your own photos. I'm using these as stocking fillers for quite a few people this year

DPs will contain various toys he enjoyed in his childhood. It'll be two fold because they are things he can enjoy with DD.
