Thanks for the quote spotty

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I'm getting a bit sporadic in what makes it to the OP (I can't put everything on or it would take up the whole thread!) so if you think I've missed something good please let me know.

yamas thanks for the Playmobil vets set tip...that's too much of a bargain to pass up so I've ordered one to go away for a future year!

fatballerina · 14/10/2014 16:57

Sofia the first talking castle is £35 on Amazon at the minute-that's 47% off..I'm resisting the twitch-bought the floating palace almost half price a few weeks ago...she does not need both...does not need both...

TrisisFour · 14/10/2014 17:00

Trouble is Wibbly, I love knowing that I've saved in advance for Xmas, but then I get all jittery when I actually spend it on Xmas presents!! I've lost the plot.

EverybodyKeepCool · 14/10/2014 17:10

I picked up a couple of bargainous Christmas duvet covers from the Yorkshire linen co at the weekend - £7.99 for a single. £12.99 for king size. They have heart shaped baubles on them with Christmassy images.

dandelionsRflowers · 14/10/2014 17:24

I've jsut had an email from Home Bargains saying delivery is free on orders over £50, handy for those who don't have one near.

Reastie · 14/10/2014 17:35

jamtoast12 · 14/10/2014 17:52

waithorse

I'm after it too! It's currently £64 on amazon and the cheapest I've seen it since June is £58 so I'm not expecting it to drop much more though I hope so! It's £69 in smyths so I'm after a 20% discount code to get it for £54!

jamtoast12 · 14/10/2014 17:52

£56!

Reastie · 14/10/2014 17:55

OodneedsanOod · 14/10/2014 18:27

What are the dates like on the thorntons? I can't eat them if they are shirt dated so don't want to waste them

TeWiSavesTheDay · 14/10/2014 18:29

In the Works today they had reduced craft tins - 3.99 for a set with all the pieces to make a small penguin, owl or kitten ornament/bag. These are with prepunched holes and plastic needles so good for primary type age. For £2 they also had make your own Christmas decoration kits which looked very good for the price - these were more for someone who could actually sew properly!

They also had lots of Christmas sparkles and craft bits. There plain cards were good value - 50 cards and envelopes for £4 available in a few different colours.

The entertainer had reductions on a few different toys still on. For slightly older children they had starwars/transformers etc mini pinball machines for £10 and they also had a reduction on the how to train your Dragon toothless that spits stuff? And some of the smaller tmnt figures.

Baconsandwichandacupoftea · 14/10/2014 18:42

My Thorntons order hasn't arrived yet but up thread people have said dates are mostly fine, especially if you buy Christmas - themed items.

BuddyKringleberry · 14/10/2014 18:51

I twitched and got Anna and Elsa toddler dolls in B&M today for £19.99 each. Not sure the people of Watford have caught on to the Frozen craze as there were lots on the shelves x

PamelaEwing · 14/10/2014 18:59

Thanks for the Playmobil vet set :) Now just waiting for the campervan to come back into stock at Asda!

Body shop has an up to 50% off sale and 30% off core items (with code 14671). Got a lovely rose, hemp & almond butter hand cream trio down to £8 (plus £2.99 postage).

306235388 · 14/10/2014 19:00

Just back from Tesco and got a Luke sky walker large figure for £7.50, they had others as well as avengers too. Think it's at least half price.

waithorse · 14/10/2014 19:04

If we both look out for a good deal Jam, one of us might find one. Will let you know if I see it at a good price. Smile

Wish dd had mentioned it when Smyths had the 20% off weekend. Hmm

PamelaEwing · 14/10/2014 19:06

Jack Wills 50% off sale

Reastie · 14/10/2014 19:07

Wow YaMas I was lucky then. I wonder if these amazon price fluctuations, do you think they have a set time they are at a low price or a set number they can sell at a set price or how it works? [dull]
