I have small lists for mine, will probably add a couple of random things when shopping too.

Both need new scooters
Both want sparkly 'elsa' shoes (hopefully Primarni ballet flats with sparkle)

Dd1 shakey nails thingy, Elsa dress in bigger size (one other thing but not sure what)
Dd2 Lucy the dog, flying Tink, Anna coronation dress (can't find big enough for dd1 Sad )

Dp is choosing something too but not sure what yet (will be shared)

Stocking of randomness each, to buy half an hour in bed with Brew to wake up.

What are yours asking for or getting? Smile

My 6 year old dd is asking for disney infinity and everything else she sees advertised on the tv!

lucysmam · 09/10/2014 11:40

Grin we had that, I asked them to pick what they would most like & I'd see what else caught my eye.

My dad's getting them books by the truckload again so I'm not doing books this year.

Lucy the dog here for the 4 year old

Showy · 09/10/2014 12:43

7yo DD wants nothing. She just shrugs. I usually get her books. She wants to be an archaeologist so I might think about a metal detector.

3yo DS wants a real sword.

YesAnastasia · 09/10/2014 12:44

Everything on the adverts! Even the stuff they already have!

LadyHamiltonsPussy · 09/10/2014 12:47

Dd will be 6 by xmas. She wants a Frozen duvet cover, Anna and Elsa dolls, Elsa dress/wig/shoes/crown, an ice palace etc etc

See a theme at all? She is not getting all that btw.

She has also asked for Lego friends, another dolls pram, new baby doll, a new bike...

SirChenjin · 09/10/2014 12:51

Our 7 year old has decided he wants an iphone 6 - presumably because he's heard his teenage brother talking about them. Given he has 1)no-one to actually phone, 2)they a hell of a lot more than Santa is willing to spend and 3)no 7 year old needs a phone, I think the chances of him getting one are precisely zero.

Not quite sure what to get him though - will watch this thread with interest

Hillfog · 09/10/2014 12:59

4 yr old DD is getting an Elsa dress and gloves, secret safe diary and a new doll pram.
6 yr old DS wants Lego Star Wars, K'nex and that's all that's on his list. Would be nice to get him something that isn't just loads of pieces though :)

BadtzMaru · 09/10/2014 13:08

My 4 year old wants a Nenuco doll and the equestria girls dolls. She's been asking for the lalaloopsy doll that poos out jewels or something too but I'm not sure about that one.

crazykat · 09/10/2014 13:12

My DDs will be 4 and almost 7. They're both getting Elsa and Anna dresses and a new scooter.

Dd1 is also getting some barbies, books, maybe DVDs and a few other things.

Dd2 is getting a Sofia the first amulet thing, more dressing up dresses, possibly a leap pad. Her birthday is just before Christmas and she's getting a dolls house and furniture.

Dd1 and ds1 might be getting an Xbox 360 between them.

RiverTam · 09/10/2014 13:17

4 yo DD wants for birthday (just before Christmas) and Christmas:

Elsa and Anna dresses
Elsa and Anna dolls
a Barbie
a Groovy Girls princess doll
anything else Frozen-related she comes across

what she will get:
the Frozen dresses and dolls (but not Barbie, even though I know it's exactly the same)
maybe a Groovy Girls doll
a lot of Lego - we've had Duplo up until now so time to start a Lego collection, think we'll get Lego City stuff
a Playmobile pyramind, bought this off a friend
a Lottie doll if I'm feeling very middle-class
a bike if DH doesn't get this sorted before then.

mabelbabel · 09/10/2014 14:34

8 yo DD wants:
A doll
Some Lego
An art case (her little sister has one)
Some board games/books

5 yo DD wants:
Lego Cinderella's castle and carriage
Anything Frozen
Some Playmobil maybe (but the Lego more popular recently)

They'll probably get most of these bits from us or other relatives, plus a stocking. I don't know what I'll do when we have "enough" Lego. Is it possible to have too much??

SlatternGettingPumpkinReady · 09/10/2014 16:27

Frozen stuff, Frozen stuff and more Frozen stuff.

Finnellajoe · 09/10/2014 17:36

Sirchengin- what about an iPod touch? (Not sure on your budget but a lot less than an iphone6!). I am considering getting my daughter one as she loves her shuffle to listen to audio books and I could put so many more on the touch, plus the games and apps she could use.

SirChenjin · 09/10/2014 17:47

It's the phone he's interested in - DH plans to give him one of his old ones. We may even write 'iPhone' on it Grin

SirChenjin · 09/10/2014 17:49

Disclaimer: we will get him an actual present too, we're not that cruel!

IsabellaofFrance · 09/10/2014 17:53

DD is 6 and wants one of the sylvanian families rabbit sets (cant remember which one), a book about animals and a stretchkin.

CactusSeven · 09/10/2014 18:14

My almost 7 year old wants anything Frozen themed. Hmm.

I have got them both some Frozen PJs - and I have held off buying them the DVD so far, so Dd 1 will get that too. Not sure if I will get her the dolls as well, or if I will go in a different direction for her main present - Lego maybe.

Dd 2 is nearly 4 and wants "lots and lots of teddies". So I'm on the lookout for some nice cuddly toys that come in different sizes so she can have a mummy, daddy and baby one.

SlatternGettingPumpkinReady · 09/10/2014 20:46

Cactus I love Ugly dolls, and you can create whole families with them. I found them in an obscure shop in Dublin years ago, but they are now more mainstream and I saw them in Toys R us the other day.

fuzzpig · 09/10/2014 21:06

DD is 7, she would really like some lego sets (she particularly mentioned a house so I'm getting her one of the Creator ones) and she adores monster high so she's getting a doll too.

fuzzpig · 09/10/2014 21:07

Oh and the other thing she's mentioned is Kiki's Delivery Service on DVD so she's got that too.

Shamazeballs · 09/10/2014 21:10

4 year old- every page of the argos catalogue, a garden of her own (we have a garden- I've got her gardening things), Anna dress, batman lego, spider girl costume, camera, babies (I think she means dolls!), a butterfly thing (little live pets?) and some real fish to live in her bedroom. She would also like a bag of potatoes as I confiscated her last pet potato when it was growing new potatoes.

lucysmam · 09/10/2014 21:16

Grin @ potato pet. My four year old is fond of spuds as pets too for some reason Confused

Have solved the 'other thing' for dd1, she was eyeing up Monster High and Ever After High dolls earlier so am going to have a look at those.

Might chuck in a dvd or two as well...no idea what.

CactusSeven · 09/10/2014 21:21

Thanks Slattern, will have a look!

AuditAngel · 10/10/2014 16:59

Well, it is DD2's 4th birthday on Monday. She is getting a Sofia the first amulet, a couple of colouring/sticker books (Sofia/Doc McStuffins), a couple of very cheap DS games and a Sofia picnic basket.

DD1 7 has asked for an ereader for Christmas. Last year I managed to get DS a Kobo mini for £30 so hope to get similar this year.

No idea what DD2 wants for Christmas!
