I have small lists for mine, will probably add a couple of random things when shopping too.

Both need new scooters
Both want sparkly 'elsa' shoes (hopefully Primarni ballet flats with sparkle)

Dd1 shakey nails thingy, Elsa dress in bigger size (one other thing but not sure what)
Dd2 Lucy the dog, flying Tink, Anna coronation dress (can't find big enough for dd1 Sad )

Dp is choosing something too but not sure what yet (will be shared)

Stocking of randomness each, to buy half an hour in bed with Brew to wake up.

What are yours asking for or getting? Smile

DD's are 4 and 6.

Things I have already bought -
Frozen top trump cards
Olaf teddies
Little Live pet Birds
Kidipet friends
dressing up clothes
Books
Frozen colouring books and books.

7 year old dd wants a new bike, a science experiment kit and Ever After High dolls - quite happy with that list Smile

2 year old dd is not yet old enough to give us a list but I rather suspect it would include Peppa pig and Sofia the First if she could

mrselizabethdarcy · 10/10/2014 19:23

Watching with interest. My 6 yr old ds wants a gaming computer, headphones and a Mike. I blame stampy lol. Unfortunately, none of these are in father Christmas s budget but am stuck for other ideas.

SmileAndNod · 10/10/2014 19:49

Dd (4) wants a doll that swims backstroke in the bath (I assume it has been advertised on milkshake?). She hates dolls and anything girly usually so not sure what thats all about.

Ds(7) wants the death star, the millennium falcon and boba fetts slave 1 (Lego). Luckily he's been a bit of a monkey this year so hopefully won't be too disappointed when he doesn't get any of the above. I wish we could afford to get one, I really do, but it's just way out of our budgetSad

lucysmam · 10/10/2014 20:40

mrse my oldest bought herself Minecraft this afternoon with her Christmas money from last year. She and dp have been playing it for hours while I wander round with a Confused look on my face!

SmileAndNod, my dd2 had swimming doll a few years ago.

I don't have a 4yr but my 7 yr DD2 wants Gabby chatster she not getting it as I will not pay near £60 for a talking doll, DD2 does enough talking by herself.

SmileAndNod · 10/10/2014 21:13

Thank you, I wonder if that's it. Will have to probe further when we get around to writing a letter to Santa. Am I the only person who finds dolls a little bit creepy?!

lucysmam · 10/10/2014 22:07

Dd1 would like Gabby as well Clutter (if she knew it existed!)...not a chance of walking or talking dolls in this house.

I don't mind dolls too much, walking or talking ones are just wrong though.

DS, 4, wants transformers, lots of them.

DD, 3, wants barbies and fairies and princesses.

My attempts at gender neutral parenting didn't go quite to plan.

BarbaraPalmer · 10/10/2014 22:22

no idea. as usual they are refusing to talk about Christmas until mid-December, when everything they then decide to ask for has sold out.

I already have an Elsa dress for the 7yo, Anna dress for the 4yo. I strongly suspect that this will provoke a hissy fit from the 4yo, but Elsa had sold out in her size. They also have the Anna and Elsa sparkle dolls.

dd1 is getting quite interested clothes, so might end up getting her some nice bits. And there's a new Goth Girl book out.

BopToTheTop · 10/10/2014 22:36

I have just been on the Disney store website and I saw that the standard coronation dress went up to age 11-12 if that's any good?
If not I have seen some lovely coronation dress accessories on Etsy which could always be teamed with a long green gypsy style skirt and a black vest top, maybe even with some bead/sequin work around the collar (you could even add this yourself)

Dd (4) probably bit of a different list because she has an older brother rather than sister....

Frozen top trumps
Real doctor kit (real stethoscope, pen torch etc)
Teacher kit (register, stickers, exercise books)
Ben and holly figures
Double buggy
Cake pop set
Sleeping beauty DVD

harverina · 10/10/2014 23:21

Dd2 will only just be 1 at Xmas so she won't know what's happening.

Dd1 is 4 and has asked for a new bike with "real spokes" but it must have a doll carrier at the back Grin

She has asked for the Anna costume, Anna tiara, Anna jewellery, Elsa tiara, Elsa jewellery, Elsa shoes, Anna doll, my little ponies...she asks for something new every day when she sees adverts on tv!

I am getting a little excited myself by this thread!!

lucysmam · 11/10/2014 17:50

That's a good idea Bop, will have a hunt for a skirt and top instead that I can customise.

306 try Poundland (green one) for cake pop bits - I got molds, sticks, bags and stands in there a few weeks back to do with my girls Smile

Thanks lucysmam I actually got a full kit for £1.50 in tesco the other day Grin

lucysmam · 11/10/2014 20:45

Really!? I never go in an actual Tesco to look round (even though they do my shopping for me) maybe I should do! Could have saved myself a couple of quid.

DD1 (7) wants:

A Zuma (Sp?) Dino
A violin
A Cayla doll Hmm she never plays with dolls and shows no interest in dolls usually.

DD2 (3.10 at Christmas) wants:
A "Shopkeeper" AKA a toy till, that she saw in our local tesco a few weeks ago and won't stop raving on about. I asked her if she would like anything else as it's only a tenner, she looked horrified and said, "no! I want a shopkeeper with the phone on it and tickets" (tickets = pound notes).

chutneypig · 11/10/2014 21:11

I shudder. DD (7) had the argos catalogues out last weekend and a huge list she'd typed into the computer that I've not dared looked at. Her twin brother wrote a list at after school that included loom bands, a computer, a phone and jewels. Only one of which he's likely to get Grin

lucysmam · 11/10/2014 21:48

Robin your youngest sounds like my now four year old not so long ago Grin We have a shopkeeper from Wilko that has a phone and tickets, still gets loads of use these days (extra tickets might be a good idea though...ours disappear like magic!)

My 5 year old is planning to ask Santa for cat earmuffs. Other than that we're in the dark. I do have some Lego and Playmobil squirreled away so she can have that. She's getting a cat onesie as well.

Alexaa · 11/10/2014 22:19

DD1 is asking for a Sylvanian Families (did want a mansion but has decided on Regency Hotel)

DD2 is asking for an American Girl doll. DS, DH and I were looking on the website last night after DS1 and DDs had gone to bed. They are slightly creepy but cute. She was asking for some other small things as well but can't remember what they are called.

FelicityBennett · 12/10/2014 11:03

I found Anna coronation which fits my average size 7 year old on amazon - cannot link sorry on iPad but if you put Anna frozen costume into amazon search think was 4 th down and goes up to 140 cm

RonaldMcDonald · 12/10/2014 13:40

My 4 yo asked for
A big pile of sweets and a water bottle
I am in trouble

scandip · 12/10/2014 13:53

A potato pet! Adorable.
I want to get my daughter a Mooshka doll. They are really cute but I would probably love it more than her.
She will be 6 and wants lots of Frozen related stuff, baby doll and like people said above, most of what she sees on the ads!
She seemed interested in building a plane the other week, so I wondered about some sort of kit to make it or maybe there is lego for that??
I make dolls too so she will maybe get one from me.
She is also Barbie mad so maybe one of those. I have a few old Sindys which she also likes, so maybe a new but old Sindy from ebay.
