BLooming nora I only went to visit my mum...

Who is looking for my little pony?

We stopped in sainsbos on Thr way home (not our local one wildflowere Grin). And dd2 found the new glittery ponies for £2.40 each. They are £6-8 everywhere, she got two with the pocket money her granny gave her.

Mipe · 05/10/2014 19:17

The Book People have Star Wars Folded Flyers for £4.99, free delivery tonight with code FINALFAIRY ??

Barbeasty · 05/10/2014 19:39

I'm waiting now for my family to do their lists. And sitting firmly on my hands!!

2kidsintow · 05/10/2014 19:51

Helloooooo, thread number 10.

I shall keep an eye on my 2 throws for any holes. 2 happy girls were snuggled in them last night and they haven't complained yet.

DD has settled on the pink 3ds (not xl as she likes the colour of the other one) so I shall have my eyes peeled for if Tesco gets them back in stock and offers doubling up of clubcard vouchers... or if Amazon gives an offer on the price.

I just need to get DD1 to settle on what she wants.

Although, due to a couple of mooches around Chester and this thread, I have a lot of things already for all those who we buy for.

Hi
I am discreetly starting some bargainous Xmas shopping but DH would have a fit if he knew! I am looking for Frozen dolls or princess Sofia for DN who is 3 1/2 very pink and going on 13. Or anything related to these themes.
Can I ask for your good advice, please as DS (7) never had any interest in anything pink or princessey and you seem to know the whole toy/duvet cover/dresses market out there so well?
Thanks.

I went to Wilkos today and they had a load of notepads and pens reduced to 50p. Some erasers and keyrings with trolley tokens at 25p. Also some square boxes that might be nice for hamper type gifts at 50p. Just check they go through the till at that price as some of my stuff didn't and she had to manually change it.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 05/10/2014 20:03

Just read thread and I now have a load of meat coming and a my little pony castle.

As you were. Grin

RJnomore · 05/10/2014 20:24

There is a £20 whistles gift card in this months Elle off a minimum spend of £25.

I thought that was quite good and might get a cheao scarf etc. until I went onto the whistles website....! But if you are buying from there anyway it might be worth getting.

RJnomore · 05/10/2014 20:24

Sorry minimum spend £35

poppetina · 05/10/2014 20:32

poppetina · 05/10/2014 20:33

admiralclingus · 05/10/2014 21:07

reastie the gruffalo set isn't available anymore

I can't believe another Sunday has brought another thread! Off to catch up on the bargains I can't afford to be buying!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 05/10/2014 21:07

I knew the Batmobile would get the thread title

WildFlowersAttractBees · 05/10/2014 21:08

IKEA had a battery operated milk frother for £1 today... it may be pants but for £1 it can go in with the tassimo!

ModerationInEverything · 05/10/2014 21:21

WildFlowers I bought the milk frother yesterday and it's fantastic! Needs 2xAA batteries if it'sgoing to be a gift Grin

admiralclingus · 05/10/2014 21:24

tewi Dd has those PJs and they're lovely, they wash really well and fit well. She's 89cm and there's plenty of room in the 92cm ones for her to get a fair bit of wear out of them.

The crystal castle play set in your second link is really small by the way! Dd was a bit underwhelmed by it

(Can you sense a theme in our house?! Grin)

And ooh sparkly ponies!

WildFlowersAttractBees · 05/10/2014 21:28

YAY Moderation. It is a 'gift' to us all on Christmas eve but I got batteries today too (conveniently placed right beside said frother instore).

Coffeeinapapercup · 05/10/2014 21:36

Grin at batmobile title! !!!

(And shamelessly marking place)
Thanks

PamelaEwing · 05/10/2014 21:45

Can anyone please tell me if Joules girls clothing is true to size/age or do they come up big/small generally?

Sorry it's slightly off topic but it is clothing for gifts so sort of counts?! Grin!

PamelaEwing · 05/10/2014 21:48

crabtree & evelyn gardeners hand cream 50g half price. Could be a good present for a gardening parent or in law? They had lots of other good offers online too.

RJnomore · 05/10/2014 22:08

Th glittery ponies are great - they are like snow globes!

This is them ad £6 in smyths

www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/fashion-dolls/c-505/my-little-pony/p-6106/my-little-pony-deluxe-ponies/

AndHarry · 05/10/2014 22:09

Pamela my DD isn't quite 2 but I'd say it was true to size so far, same with my 4yo DS. A 2-3 year coat is down to DD's knees with less than a month to go until her 2nd birthday.

SisterMoonshine · 05/10/2014 22:15

Shucks. I must've looked just too late for the dancing water speakers for less than £10 on Ebay.

admiralclingus · 05/10/2014 22:21

RJ we went looking for those in Smyth's the other day but I didn't realise they were glittery! I just thought they were see through!!! I need to get me to a sainsburys!
