Myhen, sometimes toys r us have old stock. You could also try facebook for sale pages, I always see them at car boot sales ( often boxed sets ) so might be worth looking there. My dd's often ask for things that are no longer in the shops ( both have ASD ), last year I had to find a gameboy colour for dd1.

Myhens, i went to a car boot sale on Sunday just past and seen loads!

Thanks marne I've tried my local (ish) Toysrus and they have nothing, just the newer versions. Car boot is an idea, will have to see if there are any local in the next couple of weeks. DD has ASD too, she wants to write to Hasbro and ask what have they done with all the old LPS and tell them the new LPS is awful!
It's lovely that our DCs like to give us that extra challenge for Christmas hey?

Myhensareladies - it might be worth checking Home Bargains, B&M. I've picked up "old" versions of stuff like that. It mainly been figures in blind bags - they're usually reduced to 29p. Much as I love Christmas bargains my gift is with party bags

Home bargains have got the little tike cars for £40 which is the cheapest I have seen them and they also have some half price outdoor play houses that look amazing!

norks not that far...Fishguard is just down the road. Although I won't tell DH as he drove over about 6 years ago when DS wanted this Fireman Sam toy and it was only the Smyths in Dublin I think that had it. how a £30 toy turned into a £150 toy! Lol.

greycrow I bought a North Face gilet last year in Blacks when they had an offer on.
It was worth hanging on for as, IIRC it was 20% off plus cashback from TopCashback as well.
Otherwise I think TKMaxx is your best bet as I am always on the lookout for cheap North Face stuff and am constantly thwarted :(
