The Amazon 4 for £10 offer - you have to select the postage option that means they'll all arrive at the same time. It won't work otherwise. I spent ages working that out yesterday, was so frustrating.

moodymary · 30/09/2014 12:57

Those looking for Frozen stocking fillers, I popped into Wilko this morning and they had glittery nail polish (the type that peels off), bath confetti, magic flannels and some other bath bits and pieces, each item was £1.50-£2 ish and all on 3 for 2.
Also lots of similar products with Doc McStuffins on, also Thomas and Jake and the never land pirates.

CointreauProfiteroles · 30/09/2014 12:59

Has anyone spotted any chocolate tree decorations at a decent price? Just will prob need around 200 if we all have a pick off the tree each day and to allow for visitors. They all seem to be few quid for 12 which will cost us a fortune :(.

tanya1312 · 30/09/2014 13:01

Have ordered 4 dvds for £10, dinosaur one for grandson, chic flick for daughter, one for me and mrs doubtfire x

Also the scarfs everyone is ordering arrived today they are beautiful May have to order more :) x

TrisisFour · 30/09/2014 13:02

oO, I've tried that and it's made no difference. No postage costs at all. It's the 'More Buying Options' that I need to fix but can't see how to do it. At the moment all mine are coming from different places and not 'Amazon.co.uk' but I can't see how to change it!! They're all sat in my basket waiting to be ordered!! Gggrrrrr...

Mum2Pea · 30/09/2014 13:09

amazon 4 for £10

choose DVD
on right, click the used and new from xxx
then on next page, make sure you're looking at new from £xxx
then look for the one where seller information is amazon.co.uk
(i found it on the 3rd and 4th page for a couple of them)

good luck!

LikeSilver · 30/09/2014 13:11

CointreauProfiteroles The cheapest I've seen so far were £1.49 a pack in Home Bargains (for Cadbury and Cadbury Caramel ones).

BuddyKringleberry · 30/09/2014 13:11

I popped into Next today and picked up 3 x 8M rolls of kids wrapping paper for father christmas to use. They were £3 a roll and on 3 for 2, so I got 24M for £6 which I think is pretty good.

Also I popped into Matalan today and asked for a discount coupon and was given a 25% off a £30 spend using click and collect. So it's worth popping in before ordering.

I've decided to go for the Matalan Xmas duvet for the novelty value and due to the 25% off I do prefer the Next one but have decided when it comes to upstairs, it's a taste free zone where Xmas is concerned. The kids are going to love it!! X

Need some help searching

want to buy DD a set of russian dolls as a stocking filler.
Really like
www.amazon.co.uk/NuoYa005-Beautiful-Russian-Handmade-Reflective/dp/B00INHIRMU/ref=pd_bxgy_kh_img_z
but as it's only a stocking filler, really only wanted to spend half that

can anyone help? (or am i just being tight!)

IAlreadyToldYou · 30/09/2014 13:12

GREYCROW I was really rude yesterday and in all my excitement over purchasing the cardboard goggle thing, forgot to say thank you for posting the link. So big thanks Thanks I think my dd will love it.

tanya1312 · 30/09/2014 13:18

My dvds came up 4 for 10 once I selected the super saver option (doing it by phone) x

tanya1312 · 30/09/2014 13:19

Like the fact you can search the dvds by type e.g childrens, thrillers etc, shame there isn't a christmas option lol x

Gatekeeper · 30/09/2014 13:21

cointreau buy some cheapy Christmas chocs in foil , the sort that come in a net for a quid and then sellotape a loop of fine thread on the top of each (or use a glue gun)

Gatekeeper · 30/09/2014 13:24

Mum2Pea why not get her the blank set and either decorate them yourself with felt tips or include some really nice pens and get her to do it

Gatekeeper · 30/09/2014 13:25

what about these

Elvish · 30/09/2014 13:26

Thanks Clr Thanks

TrisisFour · 30/09/2014 13:27

Mum2Pea, thank you!! Turns out that one of the ones I'd chosen doesn't have delivery by Amazon.co.uk at all!!! Looked at all three pages and just wasn't on there, so I suspect that was the problem.

I managed to swap it out with a different DVD, changed all to Amazon.co.uk as per your instructions and hey presto, 4 DVDs winging their way for the grand total of £10!! So thank you! Thanks

As an aside, the one that didn't give the option of Amazon.co.uk delivery was called 'The First Snow of Winter'. If anyone can look it up and see if it does give the option under the 'More Buying Options' please let me know and prove that I really am going crazy... Thank you!!

pantshavenames · 30/09/2014 13:37

Little bird.co.UK are offering frozen 'inspired' costumes for £12.99 plus postage (78% off RSVP supposedly). I can't comment on what they are like as my DD seems to be the only girl who frozen is lost on.

EnglishRose1320 · 30/09/2014 13:42

My DS has just declared that he knows Father Christmas will be bringing him Chima pyjamas- hmmm looks like Father Christmas had a snooze and lost out because they are all out off stock in the mid season sales and the only place I can find them is in the USA with stupid postage that I refuse to pay. If anyone happens to spot any I would be very grateful for a link- ideally didn't want to spend much more than £10 for character pj's

MsAspreyDiamonds · 30/09/2014 13:43

GREYCROW · 30/09/2014 13:46

Gosh no problem IAlreadyToldYou (how many times a day do I say that!) I love these threads.

I was in Tescos today and picked up a Hello Kitty fashion boutique that scanned through for a cent... Don't know if it was a mistake in that specific one but might be worth a try?

GREYCROW · 30/09/2014 13:50

Not dolls as such Mum2Pea but these Russian doll boxes look lovely and reduced from £19.95 to £4.95!

TrisisFour · 30/09/2014 14:05

Pants, the picture they've used is the same that they're using on Aliexpress and Ebay for the cheap Anna/Elsa dresses. The coronation dress that was shown (the Anna one) I ordered from Ebay for £8 including postage and actually it's surprisingly fab!! Smile
