I'm just back from Costco. I picked up some glow pets. They're on offer in there this week and I paid just over £14 each for them (even cheaper at the till then they advertised) I was going to get them in the argos 3 for 2 but this beats faffing around to get the styles we need! just noticed they also didn't scan my £15 dishwasher tabs x

I went to Poundland on Saturday and got 10 (!) of these flask things to go in hampers I'm making. I was going to put mugs in but thought these would do the job and they are a bit Christmassy (and cheap! )

I also got lots of nice nail polishes and face masks to go in the hampers too.

Noooooo! I didn't get one of those Debenhams cards the other day because we don't have one so I don't shop there. BIL of the non lego buying fame who lives near a HUGE shopping centre and can't comprehend the possibility of people not having one of every single shop in the world on tap has given me a Debenhams gift card for my birthday. Hope they do another one of those Co buy things as I could get the Christmas shopping done for all the relatives from Debenhams and then spend the equivalent cash on myself

Been into Home Bargains this morning and they have a few 2015 annuals in at £2.99, Peppa Pig, Moshis, 1D and a football one so far.
Also, ours had received their delivery of Christmas chocolate over the weekend. I got a box of Lindt Lindor 200g chocolate balls for £2.49. The BB is end of October but I'm thinking of putting them in a pretty cellophane bag with ribbon - chocolate doesn't go off does it

I forgot to say that I also got some Chupa chupp (sp?) candles from Poundland too for the hampers.

I also got a wallet for DH in Debenhams, reduced from £24 to £7.20 and 2 of these light up watches (the light is more red than the picture) and a light up band that flashes really brightly, that I'm going to use when running on 3 for 2 at Tesco. The watches were £6 and the band was £4. I may have also bought more wrapping paper and my Christmas cards on 3 for 2 at Tesco too. I was so excited in town on Saturday as loads of places were putting/already had out some Christmas stock.

I said about a shop near me was turning into a Christmas shop on Saturday too and that Santa would be there. He was All the stock was reduced too so I got loads of stuff that I didn't need! Huge sack of massive painted pine cones anyone?! I felt daft walking through town with them! They were playing Christmas songs and giving out mince pies and it was amazing! Ahh I'm so excited. Can you tell?!

Joining in! Need to start buying after my next payday at the end of the month. I have to buy for DD who will be 1 on 22nd December (also need birthday presents, arghh!), DP, Mum, Dad, 6yo niece, 3yo niece, 3yo nephew and nephew who will be 10mo.

So far I've bought a winter hat and gloves set for nephews, which were a bargain at £2 each from the Mothercare outlet at Rotherham Parkgate. Well worth a visit if you're in the area as it's massive and crammed full of reduced stuff. Loads of happy land and other ELC toys! Got a set of three Christmas bibs for dd for £1.60 also a few tops for her reduced to £1. I could spend all day in there. I've also bought some sheepskin booties for DD reduced to £10 but that's as far as I've got...

Was in Primark today and saw these brushed cotton Christmas duvets. Double £16. King £20. thought I'd post a picture as there was some interest last week on the thread.

NorksEnormous - small world . I bought the Lucy dog last year around second week of October and I seem to remember you couldn't get them for love nor money after Halloween.

My local Sainsburys have reduced a whole load of stationery/ key rings/stickers in their owl and the pussycat range. I've just bought 15 very cool key rings at 29p each (party bags), there's lovely notecards, tins of colouring pencils for stocking fillers/ kids friends presents.

Or you can do the rather more fun and less scary version of the elf getting up to all kinds of mischief by positioning it in different poses after the kids go to bed.
