BlackbirdOnTheWire · 22/09/2014 00:36

Totally random but whilst looking through the Amazon add-on tat, I found this bargainous 35p "toilet sticker" www.amazon.co.uk/leading-star-Cartoon-Smiling-Bathroom-Creative/dp/B00N0KA7E6/ref=pd_sim_kh_18?ie=UTF8&refRID=04BP8TTDES9JSDAAQR2H

First reaction was WTF? Who'd buy that? Second thought was hmm, that naughty elf might think it funny to put a face on the loo lid... Grin

If anyone sees any really cheap elf pranks, 'snow' etc please post. I have only so much inspiration of my own!

waithorse · 22/09/2014 06:42

Blackbird, toilet sticker is now 32p. Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 22/09/2014 07:01

Is there a link to the Lucy dog? I can see everyone talking about it Confused

SweetPeaPods · 22/09/2014 07:09

Does anyone have an elc discount code?
Also, where is best place to get Lucy dog?
I've had an email from Debenhams they have upto 25% off across all depts.

Elvish · 22/09/2014 07:14

TiWe I'm hovering over Etsy trying to resist a cape for DD from the seller you linked too. This isn't a bargain thread if I spend twice as much as usual!

But DD needs a winter traveling cape as her summer one is too thin to keep her warm (as she explained to me yesterday)

Someone convince me that £48 is a perfectly reasonable price for a cape with awesome planet lining Blush

NorksEnormous · 22/09/2014 07:46

Thanks wigglesrock, fellow Northern irelander here so may struggle with our accent too! Grin I thought that was a very good price for them, as I Remember last year they were all sold out and were going for crazy prices on eBay

306235388 · 22/09/2014 07:47

£48 for a cape???!!!!! Shock

TheFantasticMrsFox · 22/09/2014 07:53

Ooh spotty I have a saucepan bargain
I have just bought two saucepans for £5 each instead of £20 and a frying pan for £7.50 instead of £20 in Waitrose. They are lovely and sturdy, very shiny and have the name "Waitrose" stamped on the bottom
Not sure if you could get them online?

KnackeredMuchly · 22/09/2014 08:06

The joy of a cape is surely, she wont outgrow it quickly? So if she can wear it over two different clothes sizes wont that effectively make it half price each size? Wink

TeWiSavesTheDay · 22/09/2014 08:08

Totally reasonable elvish sort of Wink

Forgot to mention but hamper people, asda have the nice Bon Mamon(sp) jam £1.50 a jar.

Elvish · 22/09/2014 08:17

I know 306! It is sized as 4-6 and DD is a little 5 year old, so I'm sure it would last 2 winters.

Might see if DM fancies buying it...

Methenyouplus4 · 22/09/2014 08:18

Thank you prize pudding for the elc birthday code. X

Notso · 22/09/2014 08:26

Thanks for the toilet sticker! my DSIS and I have a childish prank thing going on between us, that will be a nice parting gift for my next visit.
Also will be good for EOTS which DD 14 has totally pestered me into submission about.

Notso · 22/09/2014 09:02

Seen on HUKD Bayliss and Harding hand cream £1 on amazon

Also little tikes cosy coupe Union Jack edition is flown to £35.99 which the lowest price it has been on Amazon.

Gatekeeper · 22/09/2014 09:08

EOTS??

Gatekeeper · 22/09/2014 09:11

Elvish is it a hooded cape? Could you not make one (or get someone to make one for you)?

CallingAllEngels · 22/09/2014 09:13

Elf on the shelf gatekeeper

admiralclingus · 22/09/2014 09:16

Elf on the shelf gatekeeper!

Have nicked the idea for an elf prank thankyou blackbird! Wrt snow, last year pound land had some stuff that looked like shredded tissue paper but was sparkly and white and we used that for snow because it was easier to clean up!

CallingAllEngels · 22/09/2014 09:24

BuffyFairy one of my friends does custom jeans/skirts/waistcoats and dresses with vintage fabrics. Most of the stuff she does are things like Marvel/Power puff/doctor who but if she can get hold of the fabric, she'll make anything for you (including Dinosaurs) - a lot her stuff is commissions. Saw an amazing Matilda skirt she made a while back. She's based in Somerset (Taunton).

Her company is Mary Jane's Originals on facebook.

BuffyFairy · 22/09/2014 09:29

Asda Elsa dresses are back in stock in all sizes!

TrisisFour · 22/09/2014 09:41

Notso, thank you for that. I'm doing little 'pamper hampers' for DD's teachers and TAs for Xmas and those will be perfect. It will be accompanied with a mini box of chocs, a mini bottle of wine and a little yankee candle (the votive ones). I think I would quite fancy receiving something like that if I was a teacher and only £4 each.

Now I want to find some cheap MYO XMAS gift bags so that DD can add her own little touch...

TheOnlyPink · 22/09/2014 09:54

Really cute make up purse/ pencil case for 99p with free delivery

Rhinopotamus · 22/09/2014 09:56

Hello everyone. I'm after some advice on buying a micro maxi scooter. I've found a French site called ozflip.com that has them for £77.97 plus £8.60 delivery. That sounds quite good to me but has anyone seen them cheaper anywhere else?

marne2 · 22/09/2014 09:59

Marking my place.

Argos have 3 for 2 on all toys from wed, have heard this will be on tablets too but not sure how true this is.

I'm trying so hard not to start my shopping until November but finding it hard as there's so many bargains. I don't want my house full of tat this year so I'm trying to hold back Grin. Looking for a good deal on a tablet or laptop but don't want to buy yet ( or warranty will run out too quick ), also looking for Shopkins bargains.
