zipzap I love you! That's perfect for what I want and I am a dab hand at twirling the ribbon. I would be lost with out everyone's help on here.

I'm going to have a present evening on Saturday with a glass of baileys or 2. I won't have my ribbon in time but I can always add that on. Then I just have to find a way of stopping 18 month old DS from trying to unwrap them!

ValiumQueen · 12/12/2013 20:40

Thank you for the ideas ladies Smile

And thank you for the link to the Playmobil western town. That was bought in the small hours with a baby asleep on my head.

zipzap · 12/12/2013 20:54

There's an exclusive to mumsnet code for free book people delivery too, think it was listed earlier in this thread or maybe the one before...

I know, I know hallow. I'm not really going to get it but it is calling to me. I've considered getting mine craft for dd so I can buy the book. Xmas Shock How sad is that?!

pettyprudence · 12/12/2013 21:09

Oh bugger now I have the twitch - I just ordered my dsis (and me and dm) some stuff from great plains but this now means that I need to balance out dbro's gifts. AAARgggghhhh! 23 year old male???? So far I have got him some plain organic t-shirts that he requested but now need more. Maybe food? Maybe male beauty products?

Auntiebaba · 12/12/2013 21:10

2kidsintow · 12/12/2013 21:37

Got my David Walliams audio book set through for DD today. Very happy with the price of £14 with free delivery using LUCKY13 as it looks like an impressive set.

I've been on amazon and bought the DDs a DVD each (twitching that they didn't have enough - but have also raided their small gifts selection so that DD1 has a few little things to give to her friends "to stop me being socially embarrassed, Mum". Thankyou Morrisons and your christmas baubles containing glittery nail varnish for £1.50. :)

I just need a box of biscuits or chocs and some cider to finish DH's presents.

2kidsintow · 12/12/2013 21:42

Oh, and I checked up on my graze box subscription to push back deliveries so I don't get any boxes until I want them and spotted that they now do kids boxes and that I was entitled to a free one.

I ordered it for DD2. They are v cute. They have a puzzle in the lid and are personalised on the front with their name. And because it's Christmas they come with a Christmassy nordic pattern on the box and a carboard build-your-own model robin inside. I went back online and ordered one for DD1 too. Not entirely worth the £3.89, but they'll love them. And I think they'll fit nicely in their stocking too. :)

LucyTheValiant · 12/12/2013 22:01

Bang and Olufsen iPad dock £129.99 down from £329.

snowgirl1 · 12/12/2013 22:03

Sorry if this is already posted, I haven't had the chance to read through the posts for today yet but Red magazine in Sainsbury's has Elemis flash balm that's apparently worth £10.75 which I find hard to believe as it's tiny - might be good to go with the Elemis freebie from many threads ago.

zipzap · 12/12/2013 22:09

Just spotted that Home bargains has pink leap pad explorers 2 for £40 instead of £90 - sorry pc is playing up so no links at the moment.

I've gone for the offical minecraft guide book rather than Thr beginner one, it looks very similar but is red rather than green and I imagine might be more suitable for people who are already quite familiar with the game, it's currently £3.85 on amazon in case anyone else wants one?

RhondaJean · 12/12/2013 22:33

Sorry the offical minecraft REDSTONE handbook even

OvO · 12/12/2013 23:15

Did anyone else get the bargain Papo castle delivered yet?

I built mine up a few days ago and it's lovely. Very easy to put together and can easily be taken down and stored in a box if you don't have room to have it up all the time.

I'm hoping we all got it and Amazon haven't done what they've done lots of - delivered some people the right thing but sent everyone else the wrong item.

zipzap · 13/12/2013 00:55

Apologies if I am repeating this.

Body shop currently have 50% off everything if you type in the code that they have displayed liberally over the site.

On top of this if you spend more than a fiver then you get free standard delivery.

And if you spend a tenner you get a free pot of their vitamin e cream.

And I got 17% cashback on top of it all from dh's work's cash back portal. I'm guessing that there will be cash back deals to go with it from other sites too.

So for less than a tenner I've got 7 lip balms, a pot of cream and a nice eye liner - the latter should have cost me £9 if I'd bought it 'normally'!

ILiveInAPineappleCoveredInSnow · 13/12/2013 01:14

Remember it's the soap and glory star gift at boots from 7am online today, and in stores when they open.

£72 of stuff for £27!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 13/12/2013 01:39

OvO
I got my castle! Well I assume it's my castle, haven't even had peace and quiet to open the first box Smile
