All you organised people will be saying "Nothing. The presents are bought and wrapped. The food is on order"

But for mortals .....

I will rule out doing anything on days I'm at work because I'm useless after work. Get home, feed people, tidy up. That's it.

But still outstanding....

Haircut (desperately needs done)
Then hair dye (at home. I cannot be doing with paying £££ )

Costco shop to buy drinks, beer, washing powder, binbags, a huge tinned Panatonne Blush

Last minute IKEA trip (mid week. It's Hell at weekends)

Taking DD out Saturday (cinema /shopping with one of her friends). I can wander about.

Cashing up the £2 jar (Family tradition)

Taking the DC and DH out on Sunday (maybe my DS will buy me a present Grin )

Big Sainsburys shop (DS/DD will see that Harry Hill film)

London on the 21st

Make marzipan and decorate cake

Make chocolate crispy wreath and chocolate house (mine won't eat gingerbread )

Wrap all the presents (might do this on Fri 13th if I can be trusted with scissors)

Put up the rest of the decorations (got the tree up)

DD has something on at school in the last week (Dance)

Last minute run round Waitrose - just because it's there Grin

A Twitch Trip to M&S and Lakeland possibly on the 19th after work (my last work day before Christmas. Late night isn't too busy)

I thought I was organised but this seems like a mammoth task .

Make eleventy thousand door wreaths and garlands.

Clothe eleventy thousand women in last minute quest for Christmas party gear.

Prepare own house. In entirety.

Boggle at organised bastards that have already nabbed all the Sainsbo delivery slots. HAVE YOU NO LIFE Angry

Sob uncontrollably at DS nativity.

Hope that tooth isn t really aching as much as I'm ignoring it.

Attend 7 Christmas do's because I feel it necessary to spread myself as thin as possible whilst holding down a full time job and family.

Have flu jab.

Giraffe remember your mum advising you on your first day at work "never make a good cup of tea"? It applies to EVERYTHING.

Nomoreminibreaks - congrats in the baby ?? fingers crossed he/she arrived on a day where you're not busy Grin

It would be fun for your waters to go as you're eating Xmas dinner though. DS2 was due in Boxing Day and I had everyone jumping up on Xmas day everytime I made a sound Grin

My mum would never give me that advice, she wont even drink my tea. This is great though, I think its my duty now to make sure I learn from your mistake and make sure my wreath is deliberately wonky Grin

Buy DPs remaining presents
Buy DPs dad something (impossible - he hordes everything he gets and that only leaves food and drink as ok options)
Wrap remaining presents
Decorate tree (arriving tomorrow)
Write Christmas cards
Make gingerbread house (Christmas eve)
Visit Santa's grotto at local forest park and Christmas market in Belfast.
Book haircut for myself and DS
Buy new outfit for Christmas (currently 33 weeks pg and nothing fits)
Buy stocking chocolates - choc coins and mini shortbread for DS.

Quite a nice lot of things left really. Apart from a pesky coursework and ucas personal statement. And packing the hospital bag at some point.

I've still got a few small gifts and stocking fillers to buy and wrap.

I need to pay for the ordered turkey, buy the food shop and festive extra treats plus alcohol (not a treat - a necessity).

Need to buy a Christmas jumper and new pyjamas for the DC's, make a few desserts, make truffles as presents for family members, clean the house and organise every room, make sure all the things for donation actually get sent to the charity shops and have a thorough deep clean.

I am unorganised.

Lordy everything. Have been ill for about 10 days, just about managing to go to work and feed the DC. Everything else is just being left. Didn't help that the first doctor I saw completely missed my kidney infection. Tosser.

Oh dear I'm not at all organised.

Still to do ...

Decide what I'm buying people
Buy presents (I've got maybe a tenth of them)
Buy wrapping paper and cards
Wrap presents
Do a food menu
Buy food / pre cook what I can for entertaining

On the plus side the tree is up ...
