hi all, i've trawled through the Christmas board and have got lots of tips for my girls, but there don't seem to be many threads for little boys!

My ds (who's 6 in April) hasn't got a wish list and doesn't seem to have any ideas about what he wants. What have you got your sons/nephews/other boys?

he likes lego, and last year really liked imaniginext batcave/castle etc. he isn't really into anything. i wouldn't know what lego to buy him though. What other building type toys are there?

all ideas welcome. thanks!

Ds (6) is having the following (from us, fc, godparents & grandparents)
Bike
Remote control car or scaletrix set (they havent decided yet)
Wii game (to share with sibling)
Lego set
Game - blow football
Football kit with name on
Spiderman shooter thing (big last year i think - was on offer!)
Skateboard park with skateboards
Books

He has a marble run and plays with it a lot, then doesnt bother with it for months.
Other things he has that he likes are:
Top trumps
Mining / fossil dig
Cars and transporter (is getting another transporter in stocking after i found one in a charity shop)
Farm set

I got a Hudl a few months ago and did think about getting DS one but honestly he isn't that interested. He said he wanted proper toys. I think I'll get him one when he's about 7 and he actually really wants one.
Aldi's tablets are coming out on Sunday at £79.99 but limited stock.

Zoobs are fab. Mine have those.

If he likes his scooter how about a ramp. We bought a double sided ramp from toysrus for DS2 for his 6th birthday and he loves it. He uses it for his bike and his scooter

How about the lego games. Minotaurus is good as is the star wars one. We like frog rush and magikus too. You get a bit of legoing and then a board game to play so they are the best of both worlds. There is also a harry potter one but personally I can't stand it and its one of those games that never gets finished in our house.

Other games that DS2 loves are pictureka and cranium hullabaloo.
