After reading on here the fab idea for a family present I have bought 2 x popcorn makers and a load of dvds. Just been to Asda and no popcorn to be found. Butterkist yes, a couple of boxes of microwave popcorn but no kernels.

Please tell me you've seen some, preferably not online as one of the presents needs to be sorted and wrapped for Thursday.

Where can I get some?

Really really sorry to revive a zombie thread but I'm having same issue. bought dc a popcorn maker for Xmas but cannot find the kernels in our huge local asda. staff no help either does anyone have any idea where they hide them?? they do sell them as they have them online I do not do online food shopping and I only need these anyway. Any idea of what Isle they're hidden on in asda?

Not Asda as we don't have one but they might be with seeds etc, in Sainsburys that would be in the baking aisle. I get mine from a health food shop though.

Geekynzmum · 16/12/2022 20:10

My local Sainsbury's and Morrisons have them either in the world food aisle or with the dried foods like lentils etc.

theblackradiator · 16/12/2022 20:15

already checked the seeds and baking Isle without success! yes noticed online that Holland and barrett do them would mean a hectic trip into our busy city centre though which I want to avoid if possible as dc have already finished school for the holidays and I'd have to take them.

Damnautocorrect · 16/12/2022 21:51

sometimes baking
sometimes seeds
sometimes world food
sometimes lentils.

good luck!!

This is where it is in Sainsburys, and it is popping corn so that might help with googling.

I always buy from Asian food stores they always sell them

AndyWarholsPiehole · 17/12/2022 03:06

theblackradiator you revived a zombie thread over a decade old because you're too lazy to just walk down the aisles of ASDA? Wtf is wrong with you?

theblackradiator · 17/12/2022 09:31

@AndyWarholsPiehole If you read my post I've been down all the isles in asda and couldn't find them doesn't help that our asda is huge even the member of staff I asked couldn't find them. There is no need to be so nasty why are some people on here so horrible I only asked a question thinking someone may buy them from time to time in an asda store and know where they locate them.
