I went to harrods yesterday but I was disappointed by their christmas shop - it lacked something imo.

mrslovechristmas took me about 5 attempts to do the bespoke offer - it kept finding something wrong with my details!

Those having problems with the Bespoke offers, it does seem to take a while to get it to accept your order. I must have tried about 20-25 times for the Amazon one.

Oh my! I've just got my DS's free box of awesome. I was sceptical after seeing everyone elses goodies, but it's really good. A Bear Gryllis survival book, Dr Who and star wars trading cards and some zombie card/game thing.

I've tried about ten times now and am losing the will to live! I get as far as the payment being processed, but then get the message "Something has gone wrong with your payment" - so don't know whether it just won't accept my card for some reason.

Linzer- last time, with the Amazon thing, I gave up. Then next time I tried to use my card, it said it had been blocked. When I rang Barclays they made me faff round changing the secure code thing a billion times, but it still wasn't accepted, and then Barclays said it must have been blocked because of "possibly suspicious transactions" though no payment was ever taken, but it put me off trying again tbh.

That's interesting Drank - my card is a Barclays one too and I've definitely been using it more than normal recently, which Barclays may be viewing with some suspicion I suppose! I'm overseas so generally use the card from my local bank account; I don't think I can use it on this site though, as it's not registered to a UK address. Will have to see if my Barclays card is accepted anywhere else.

My Barclays card was declined on a ELC phone order yesterday. ELC said it was my card/issuer. Called Barclays - no problem their end either? Odd.

Just bought the yankee candle calendar for myself. Why? Half of then are bound to smell horrible aren't they,and we'll be halfway through advent by the time they'll turn up no doubt! Confused

ploay.com have got half price photo books and notebooks/posters/etc as their offer of the day today.

They also have loads of festive clothing (mostly tshirts but other stuff too) for under a tenner. I'm considering the 'sheep and mint' tshirt (baa-humbug) for my bil Grin
