If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

If you spot any of these links or codes not working please post on the thread in bold so I can’t miss it or pm me Thanks

Is there any way you can make Thornton codes stack? Or is it only by combining a code with an offer that you become chocolate bargain queen?

Lalou · 04/12/2013 19:49

Not fussy at all Funky, I thought it was a longshot! I hope you find THE one for your DD somehow.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 04/12/2013 19:50

Have you all sent your children the snowman and snowdog Christmas card animated thingy from Thorntons? it's fab!

Go to their FB page (not sure if it's also on website, probably) put in your details and the snowman flies over your house (kind of like streetview)

It's lovely!

MooseyMoo · 04/12/2013 19:51

funky I've just realised I have a large paper bag from John Lewis with the bear and hare on. Would you like that?

Not really huggable though Xmas Smile

Glad I could help out gladvent

zipzap · 04/12/2013 20:10

funky Milton Keynes John Lewis seemed to have a pile of the hare and bear books in this afternoon. Whilst I didn't see any soft toys (but wasn't really looking) they did have nicely framed animation cells for £25. Not sure if they are the actual ones or they've printed to sell but they were quite nice and would be a very nice thing to have on the wall if they had meaning to you/your dd. If you haven't spoken to them specifically they might have other stuff if they still have books left.

girlsyearapart · 04/12/2013 20:15

Funky pigeon has lots of deals including personalised mugs & 1D stuff 30% off using code XMAS13

Theonlyoneiknow · 04/12/2013 20:21

I can look in the Aberdeen John Lewis tomorrow if that's any help?

LucyTheValiant · 04/12/2013 20:24

Has anyone seen any women's coats around at a decent price? DD is little miss fussy and everything she likes is sold out. Something like this in grey or navy would be perfect but they don't have her size in the grey anymore. Alternatively she likes this asos one but only in black which doesn't seem to exist...

I'm looking for a size 6 or 8, grey or navy (not green), not too long (i.e. couldn't possibly cover her bum...), not 'shiny' Hmm, ideally with a fleecy inside and a furry hood.

Really would like to spend less than £40 but could go up to £50 if it was perfect - has anyone seen anything even vaguely fitting that criteria? (Sorry for the hugely demanding post!)

Funkybutnot · 04/12/2013 20:33

Thanks all for helping me try and hunt down for the bear and the hare soft toys. So grateful. I managed to buy the book last night (back in stock at my local 80 miles away and will collect over the weekend)

Bless you moosey but it's ok. Will hopefully pick up a few hundredbags over the weekend.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 04/12/2013 20:35

Looking at the castle on the amazon app and although it's the right picture and review, it says Le Toy Van - Papo Wild Cats 1 (Tiger/Tiger cub/Lion/ Lioness with Cub/ White Tiger)

don't know whether to chance it!!

Funkybutnot · 04/12/2013 20:35

theonly please. If you see any ask them to put them by and I will phone up and get them posted to us. Thanks you.

2kidsintow · 04/12/2013 20:47

Free delivery at the Book people code still active. LUCKY13.

They have the 5 CD set of David Walliams books back in as of tomorrow (ish) for £13.99 instead of about £40. Perfect for DD2 who loves to listen to audio books before settling down to bed.

Not that she needed any more gifts.

In fact I need some inspiration for DD1 as she is a few gifts short of what her sister has.

ValiumQueen · 04/12/2013 20:47

I have been sent some of the high street vouchers and I cannot redeem them at any of my favourite stores. I still want bargains! House of Fraser is a possibility, but I would need to buy online. Apparently they can be used online. Has anyone done this?

The little advent books are a huge hit in our house, along with playmobil nativity figures added as they are mentioned. So far we have Mary and Gabriel, and tomorrow Joseph makes an appearance. They have not even noticed there is no chocolate around, and this morning it was so sweet hearing them acting out the story with the figures Smile

LucyTheValiant · 04/12/2013 20:50

Some bargainous women's slippers www.amazon.co.uk/Ladies-Knitted-Winter-Slippers-Lining/dp/B00GS09VPG/ref=pd_rhf_gw_s_cp_20_SX5J?ie=UTF8&refRID=0MQTGVKJKPASF35V7NCE - look quite nice.

ChristmasJumperWearer · 04/12/2013 20:50

The castle price seems to have been corrected now.

LucyTheValiant · 04/12/2013 20:50

Oops, sorry for that rubbish link

dementedma · 04/12/2013 20:51

Did anyone receive a gorillapod tripod as part of the DSL subscription? I got a magazine but no tripod which was the only thing I subscribed for! Am pissed off. Was it a scam?

Carpediem2007 · 04/12/2013 21:00

Lucy, I think I saw some coat like that in Costo, do you have one nearby?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 04/12/2013 21:05

wannasplitaPineapple the toot toot garage price fluctuates a lot on amazon. I find it's often down to £20 first thing in the morning. I set a camelcamelcamel alert and got it cheap.

LucyTheValiant · 04/12/2013 21:09

Unfortunately not Carpediem. Thank you though Smile

KittyMouseRocks · 04/12/2013 21:27

santandhishappybandofelves · 04/12/2013 21:35

lucysmam · 04/12/2013 21:39

I'm back to the drawing board for my sister now....when I was on the Body Shop website there were some giftsets that were down from £6 to £3 and a couple of other bits I was going to get my sister but they're back up to full price now so don't look so much iyswim? Any other ideas where I could look for something similar (but large ish looking) for a tenner or so? Smile

WorkingtoohardMama · 04/12/2013 21:48

lucysmam wilkos had some nice gift sets £6 each or 3 for £10.

Ihopeyoudance · 04/12/2013 21:53

lucysmam had you entered a voucher code? If you do it shows all prices with the discount but after a while it disappears if you haven't checked out. Just enter it again and the prices should go down again.
