MuffCakes · 26/11/2013 21:37

I'm feeling the twitch already since I've said I'm finished.

Dd

Onesie
Outfit and shoes
Set of books
DVD
Space kit thing
Remote control car

Sticking stuff is a yoyo, stamp, big pen and the finger lights
Everyone's got and light up laces.

Stocking stuff is basically the same as dds apart from little Lego set not yoyo.

Normally I go mad and buy them loads and loads and loads but this year I've reigned it in. But my dm isnt buying them toys this year (panto tickets instead) an my nan hasn't got them a lot either. Think that's why I'm feeling the twitch even though they have a bedroom filled with unplaced toys.

Kyrptonite · 26/11/2013 21:43

I keep buying in the hopes that it will be 'that' toy that they love forever. That's actually quite sad I know! Or that it will be the toy that I actually know how to play with with them.

OP posts:
TheRobberBride · 26/11/2013 21:43

Thanks For making me feel better mittens! You are so right..

I love these threads. Oh and I want to be some of your children (I'm looking at you fuzzpig with your cuddly Totoro!)

iheartdusty · 26/11/2013 22:00

i meant to say, wannabe, what lovely news about your DS. Have a fantastic Christmas together.

Mittensonkittens · 26/11/2013 22:07

Me too kryptonite
Ds has millions of toys but barely plays with any. I keep buying in the hopes that he will find a toy that he loves and occupies him so I can have five minutes peace but he is really only interested in fighting Hmm or craft! I'm fairly sure of his gifts this year his favourite will be his knight's outfit and his giant box of craft things, maybe he can wear the outfit whilst crafting thus combining his greatest loves.
He does like books which is good. He also adores soft toys but the play value is limited.

I guess looking back I had very few toys I loved and played with over and over, my doll's house I think might have been the only one. But I was much happier to play alone than ds, ds wants a constant play companion. We can't give him one which I feel guilty about hence I think the buying of too many toys.

BeaWheesht · 26/11/2013 23:04
