I've just been to town and saw something good for those buying bikes- Wilko are selling a bike sack, I can't remember if it was £1 or £3 or something like that It looked good though and saves a load of wrapping paper and patience too

Someone linked to Simpsons DVDs a little while ago...I didn't take much notice as the ids had literally hundreds of episodes on the Tivo box. Unfortunately the Tivo box died this week and we've lost everything that was on it, so I'd be ever so grateful if anyone can remember where the DVDs were

notso - we have Skylanders already for the wii, and Giants too, but youngest has asked for Swap Force this year. Can I just buy figures or would that not work (clueless as I never play any of these things . . .).

I was in TK Maxx yesterday and got talking to a lovely woman behind the till - she said that on Friday, their staff discount will be 20% instead of 10%. They're allowed to give them to anyone they like and just put it through as family, so she says she always looks out for stressed people with piles of Xmas shopping and gives them 20% off every year. Isn't that lovely? Sadly, it wasn't my local one as I was in Edinburgh for the day, or I'd have been back on Friday

Well I thought I had finished my shopping till I go home. Dh asked me to store the presents in a different cupboard which I did. Came home to find the latch doesn't work properly and the dog has been in it and ripped all the boxes of chocolate I has bought. Cuddlymoomoo I think you need to buy the booster pack rather than the starter pack. It is £20.99 on Amazon although I think there was some kind of trade in for the portals, not sure where or what but it might be worth looking into seeing as you get one with the starter pack for not much more, and you only need one portal to play the game.
