I need ideas for a bargain teen advent Calendar or I am selling DS1's Lego Star Wars one. I can't be doing with arguments.
I also need nice looking fabric pockets ones also bargain for DS2 and 3.

bananananacoconuts · 27/11/2013 10:52

Don't know if this has been mentioned but Zulily has large Yankee Candles for £10.99

snowgirl1 · 27/11/2013 11:04

Thornton's 'deal of the day' is a box of 100 chocolates half price for £19.99

santandhishappybandofelves · 27/11/2013 11:10

I bought 12 bottles of wine through Tesco groceries rather than direct - I bought all half price ones. It was then 25 percent off again and I used a 12 new customer discount voucher - so the 12 bottles came to £36 delivered. The extra 25 percent doesn't show as being reduced it says it will show on receipt on the screen and it definitely works min came last night.

No one is answering the number shown on pumpkin patch website. (wails) I hope they have just cocked up the tracking rather than delivered them to someone else Sad

Nix01 · 27/11/2013 11:26

The money has gone for my scarves. Will I receive one or the six I ordered? Grin

lucysmam · 27/11/2013 11:30

notso my dad got my girls each a Santa and Snowman re-useable advent calendar from the range for 99p a couple of years ago Smile

IHeartKingThistle · 27/11/2013 11:39

I have given myself until the end of November to finish my shopping - then December is all about FOOD!!! Unfortunately DHs family do 'lists' and they are just getting round to sending them out now - grrr hurry up!

Just received one of these personalised map hearts for a stocking filler for my mum. It is brilliant, especially for the price, compared to what you pay for that sort of thing on other massively overpriced websites I'm looking at you notonthehighstreet. I got the map centred around my mum's favourite beach. Now trying to think who else might like one!

Rosvita · 27/11/2013 11:41

Hello lovely ladies - anyone know where I can get bargainous festive jumpers for myself, dh, Ds (5) and dd(3). Don't want to spend lots but have been informed they are the 'dress code' for the NYE party we've been invited too!thanks in advance.

notso · 27/11/2013 12:03

Thanks lucysmam will have a look.

IHeartKingThistle those maps are a good find.

notso · 27/11/2013 12:05

Rosvita there were some women's ones on Ebay for £8.99. You could probably get the mens and kids ones there too.

Kipsy · 27/11/2013 12:20

This looks adorable and so bargainous, but we have so much already!

Moshi Poppet Talking Plush £5 down from £14 at Amazon

notso · 27/11/2013 12:24

JustShabbyNotChic I know you were looking for a cheap coffee machine. There is a Phillips one reduced from £55 to £29 from Tesco, it is in the boost as well if you have any points lying around.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 27/11/2013 12:47

I have just been called into the secretary's office at school to say I WILL BE PAID BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!! (I am employed on a madbonkers EU contract teaching English in Italian high schools. Sometimes I have had to wait 3 yrs for my money....)

Being paid before Christmas is not necessarily a good thing given my baaa- sheeplike penchant for buying bargains from this thread.....Grin

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 27/11/2013 12:56

Thankyou to the person all those millions of threads ago for drawing my attention to the golden snitch necklaces, they have just arrived, ordered them probably 6 weeks ago and had completely forgotten. They are a good size and the Dds Will be over the moon :)
Thanks

IHeartKingThistle · 27/11/2013 13:03

Oh arse. My lovely personalised Etsy necklaces have arrived (not so bargainous after I got stung for customs charges Angry) - but I mistakenly ordered 2 of one of them. How did I not notice?! And what on earth do I do with a spare personalised necklace with the initials J and C?

Wineandchoccy · 27/11/2013 13:04

My finger lights have arrived, my DH has just looked at me like I have lost the plot as I was so excited opening them!

Yesterday I bought a mega blocks build your own audi for £1.99, hello kitty board book 99p from home bargains.

From Poundland I got those little packets of toys that are in foil packaging with a different toy inside 2 for £1 I got zhu zhu pets and transformers but they had hello kitty, moshi monsters, Polly pockets. Good for stockings or if anybody making advent calendars.

They had zhu zhu hamsters in Poundland for a £1 same ones in home bargain were £2.99.

Still waiting for the cat scarf and credit card tool thing from Amazon.

MrsLoveBucket · 27/11/2013 13:13

IHeartKing - ouch on the customs charge but the necklaces are so pretty. Are they your kids initials? Would one of the Granny's like one?

IHeartKingThistle · 27/11/2013 13:19

They are lovely MrsLove - really delicate. No the J and C one is for my friend - they are her DC's initials. I've ordered one with my DC's initials for DM already - typical, if that had been duplicated I could have kept it for me! Racking my brains now for anyone I know with DCs that start with J and C and can't think of anyone! I have a couple of friends whose initials are CJ but the letters are hung the other way round and can't be moved.

AmeliaToppingLovesShopping · 27/11/2013 13:22

Rosvita Primark and Peacocks both have Christmas jumpers fairly cheap but i can't remember how much.

Sorry if these have been done already.

Smyths have Lego city police station reduced from £71 to £49 i think. They also have baby born sister or brother dolls reduced from £40 to £26.

I have just got a Lego car chase set which is normally £20 in the 2 for £30 deal.

MrsLoveBucket · 27/11/2013 13:31

Stick it on eBay and you might get it sold. You never know, you could make money on it. That would be a good bargain! ??

siblingrevelry · 27/11/2013 13:39

Bath tea set £5.30:

www.amazon.co.uk/Summer-Infant-Tub-Time-Tea/dp/B001M2DBEW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385559320&sr=8-1&keywords=bath+tea

Gross Magic £10.67:

www.amazon.co.uk/Drumond-Park-DPL-Gross01-Gross-Magic/dp/B0006G3B6I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385559440&sr=8-1&keywords=gross+magic

Would've posted earlier but I was on waitlist for a car hoover on Amazon and too scared to come away from the screen in case I missed it! Bursting for a pee too, so I've just aggravated my water infection - all in the name of a bargain!
