Bugger, bugger, bugger just went on to home bargains to order my selection boxes and they don't deliver them and my nearest store is 45 miles away!

Anyone know of any other bargains for multiple selection box purchases?

StantonLacy · 23/11/2013 18:23

Lego Creator Family house down to £38.99 from £59.99 on Amazon. Sooo pleased - promised myself I'd buy it if it went down to the £40 mark but Amazon have redeemed themselves with the extra £1 or so (have been annoyed recently with the mad fluctuating prices...Tomy eggs, I'm looking at you Grin)
DS will be over the moon. Such a bargain!

iloveholidays · 23/11/2013 18:24

Funky I think I saw them in the entertainer a while back although not sure how much.

thenicknameiwantedisgone · 23/11/2013 18:27

Thank you for the swap force tip. Amazon also have it as £32.99 now. I paid £49.99 from amazon a couple of weeks ago. I am going to return it and reorder a new one, will save £17!!

Reastie · 23/11/2013 18:30

Just trying to catch up....

whispers I think there are separate threads for black friday (??), although feel free to tip off/chat on here about it if you like.

chocolate if you do find any of those slippers for that price, please let me know as I need to get some for DH but can't find any for near that price.

Lol re: Chinese sex toy! Thanks for Lego bricks link- just bought for my DD.

Re: letting kids choose. I made my kids 6 and 3 write 'surprises' in their Santa letter :-)

Anyone bought the cat scarf? Is it really cheap quality?

AuditAngel · 23/11/2013 18:35

Funky, I think Tesco had them too

GreatSoprendo · 23/11/2013 18:38

Jacquelinehyde - don't know if the offer is still running but they had selection boxes on a 'buy two, get two free' in Tesco last week.

thenicknameiwantedisgone · 23/11/2013 18:50

Amazon are charging £2.03 postage to return skylanders swap force but even after that, I'm saving £14.97 by returning to amazon and ordering a new one. Thanks Smile

DrankSangriaInThePark · 23/11/2013 18:53

I bought the cat scarf, but only when I saw it on the thread yesterday! Just another stocking filler for dd so don't mind if it's rubbish quality. I bought some 99p ones over the summer though and they were fine, bit chiffony and flimsy, but OK.

I'm sticking on here for the Black Friday bargains if that's OK. I'm comfy here. Grin

Funkybutnot · 23/11/2013 18:53

Thank you all for trying to help me find the furby plush.

Still trying to find one, ideally a baby pink one!

I have started a separate thread as don't want to take up too much space on reasties

supermariossister · 23/11/2013 19:02

Kids are asking to write lists. Ive already done all of their shopping....hmmm

ProtectiveMother · 23/11/2013 19:05

Mario tell your kids that's it's better to write surprises as Santa knows the best presents ;-)

supermariossister · 23/11/2013 19:08

that might work, i sort of froze and thought hell what if they write loads of stuff that isnt a bargain :D

notso · 23/11/2013 19:17

jaquelinehyde not sure which selection boxes you were after. Amazon have some large packs of them but more expensive than Home Bargains £22 odd for the 20 Cadbury small packs that are £15 on HB although if you have a Poundland they have the same Cadbury packs 3 for £2.

TeamSwitzerland · 23/11/2013 19:21

Marking my place... Littlewoods have 3 for 2 on all toys at the moment xxx

LongStripedScarfWearer · 23/11/2013 19:25

supermariossister do what I'm doing and start implanting ideas for things you have already bought them. Drop "oh you'll never guess what I've seen that looked cool" into conversation. Leave the Argos catalogue open at the appropriate page.

I seem to have quite successfully convinced DD that what she really wants more than anything is Doc McStuffins toys. Which is handy...

supermariossister · 23/11/2013 19:27

thats very sneaky and utterly genius :D

JaquelineHyde · 23/11/2013 19:41

Grin Long I have convinced my lot the exact same way. My two 8yr olds were desperate for an ipod touch each and have been for aaaaages. However, now they think that the Tesco Hudl is the best thing since sliced bread and are desperate for it. Just so happens that I bought two using the clubcard boost thingy at a knock down price...Everyone's a winner!

JaquelineHyde · 23/11/2013 19:44

Thank you for the tips on selection boxes, I think the Tesco deal has ended but will keep my eyes peeled for the next offer as I'm sure they will do one.

I have looked at the Amazon deal but I think I could get a better bargain if I hold out. I will definitely check out pound saver/land/stretcher and see what they have in.

notso · 23/11/2013 19:45

Definitely agree with subliminal suggesting. I also place a lot of emphasis on FC bringing surprises because he might know something that was a bargain you love but you haven't asked for. I started this early on with DD and DS1 and they now both put surprises at the bottom of their lists.

MulledWineGless · 23/11/2013 19:52

Bugger I bought my swap force a month ago and had it delivered to my mums 400 miles away Sad

Furby Boom has just made an appearance on the list - where is the best current deal?

TheOnlyPink · 23/11/2013 20:15

If anyone is looking for a balance bike, I just ordered this red Chicco Bullet Balance Bike for £15.99. The reviews are good and for that price you cant go wrong!

iloveholidays · 23/11/2013 20:18

Half price toy sale at argos here

Funkybutnot · 23/11/2013 20:29

mulled

I bought a furby boom zig-zag today for £41 from toys r us. I printed a £5 off voucher from this thread somewhere I think? I wasn't the one with 5 more vouchers printed and handing them to shoppers who were obviously spending more than £30 for them to take advantage too, oh no that certainly wasn't me

Toys r us are currently selling at £45.99 and the voucher takes it down another £5.
