Octonauts toys - advice please

My DS loves Octonauts. He's already got Gup A and Gup B and all the figures but would like to get him something else this year. The reviews seem mixed for the other Gups and the Octopod and the Deep Sea Octo-Lab so is there any advice from anyone who's DCs have got them?

DS has them all

IMO, (and his) the Octolab and the Gup X are the best,then the Octomax suit,then the build your own Gup F,Octolab is a bit basic but DS loves it all the same.All the more basic Gups are great,he wouldn't be without them,but the lids do pop off annoyingly.

There's also tons of books,his absolute favourite is a where's wally type one,but with sea creatures...obvs.

I have no idea what to buy him this year...they'd better bring out something new fast or I'm screwed!
