Ooh Reastie that's good. I think shops are daft not to really, surely they would rather have some money from you than no money from you!

Nix01 · 22/11/2013 16:26

I've been back to Sainsbury's for the 3rd time today.

There's a glitch with these Nectar point voucher things. You can get the 20 pound vouchers per department, so electrical, champagne, beauty and frozen desserts.

So a bottle of Moet cost me 12.99, but I got 7.99 back in a Price Match token.

So I went back again and got another 20 pound voucher for champagne (their system didn't pick it up, and the cashier mentioned it's per transaction but they're not meant to give out more than one per department). Another bottle of Moet I do like my fizz for 12.99 and another 7.99 back, so effectively 5.00 a bottle Grin

Cute animal post it notes have arrived today and they are... cute. I had asked for three different ones and got three different ones. Just wondering whether to try to get some for party bags, and how to sell it to the dc that I have the same supplier as FC. dd1 is nearly 9 and trying desperately to still believe.

Hobbycraft was still doing £5 off £20 spend. think probably last day.

mootime · 22/11/2013 16:38

Just a quickly from me. Amazon has some of the small Lego City Kits for £2.99 from £5.99. Coastguard, police buggy etc. they are add on items but you could get 4 to make it up to £10 and that's some serous Lego stocking fillers!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 22/11/2013 16:49

Flowers for Penguin. I am off to buy gingerbread bath gloves etc.

Mercythompson · 22/11/2013 16:51

OK, Graze has sent me two £5 gift vouchers - to "give to friends" but they both have the same code on them:

ZD3ZN1H

No idea if its a two use code only - or multiple use, but you are all welcome to try.

Pogosticks · 22/11/2013 16:56

Please could someone explain the sainsburys points voucher thing? Can see people mentioning it but can't grasp what it is!

Pogosticks · 22/11/2013 17:03

Ah thanks! So the trick is to spend them on something that's on offer elsewhere for maximum effect?

Crutchlow35 · 22/11/2013 17:06

Nix, how did you get £7.99 back?

Oreocrumbs · 22/11/2013 17:08

Has everyone who wants one got a M&S code? I still have some.

Nix01 · 22/11/2013 17:09

Well I've had a very productive day, I got a new food processor for 8.00 (was 35.99 originally, so less 20.00 and I had a 7.99 cashback voucher from the first bottle of Moet). I paid 12.99 for the first bottle of Moet (originally 32.99 less 20.00) and got a 7.99 voucher but used that towards the food processor. Went back for more Moet and that worked out to a fiver (well 12.99 but I got another 7.99 cashback voucher) - all on seperate transactions!

You can exchange 10 pounds of points for 20 pounds instore. Only one voucher per department/transaction (so they say).

Nix01 · 22/11/2013 17:10

Crutchlow, it must be part of their Price Match Promise. It automatically printed after I paid my 12.99. Even the cashier was thrilled (but I suspect it will be a short lived glitch)!

Coveredinweetabix · 22/11/2013 17:30

Tesco have a cyber deal with 50% off various things including some Furbys (poss pink, blue & orange) which are down to £29 and a lego city box with 600 pieces for £12.50. Am now kicking myself for some of the other lego I got which was bargainous but not that bargainous!
Sorry if this has already been posted. No time to look through; just posting and running

thehat · 22/11/2013 17:40

Queenofclean - I have an abel and cole code you can have. No idea how to PM you - can you PM me and I answer?

Runoutofideas · 22/11/2013 17:41

kiwidreamer · 22/11/2013 17:43

covered I need more information on the lego box, nothing obvious is standing out when I go to Tesco Direct / toys / lego / lego city ... help!!

Crutchlow35 · 22/11/2013 17:49

Oh yes, brand match. Thanks.

LucyTheValiant · 22/11/2013 17:51

Thank you for explaining the snitch thing! Thanks I will order and give for a birthday if they don't arrive for Christmas.

I'm trying to buy for someone who likes rabbits, cats and horses and I'm really stuck - I would really like something like this but I had budgeted £5 for this person! If anybody could suggest anything like it for under a tenner, to be here by the 7th of December, I'd love you.

TheXmasLogIn · 22/11/2013 17:52

Visited my local Tesco today to pickup the bargainous Zhu Zhu pets. The boxes are huge! The assistant had a bit of a problem finding them though- probably because my order said I had paid a total of £3 (used some boosted vouchers) for the 2 sets, so he was looking for a small package not 2 great big boxes Grin

Also Tesco has BOGOF on some Moshi Monster stuff including the blind bags (series 7) they were £2, but when scanned, some packs (barcodes ending 84) came up as £1.80, so that works out as 90p per bag great price for stocking fillers or putting behind advent calendar doors!
