AnneOfCleavage · 22/11/2013 10:47

Janx definitely Labyrinth as DD age 9 saw it too this morning. We have the game as she got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and it is a BIG hit with all the family. We've lent it out to friends who love it so much too and they have an 11 yr old DS so no prizes what he's getting for Xmas this year Smile

Oreocrumbs · 22/11/2013 10:48

I've sent you one Ziggy.

I've still got loads left if anyone else wants one? I'm in and out all day so if you do send a pm and I'll get back to you when I can.

ThisIsMeNow · 22/11/2013 10:51

Right, can anyone find me this keyring or something very similar, that not as expensive p&p wise?! It's exactly what I'm after but I really can't afford that much. Thanks!

snowballinafryingpan · 22/11/2013 10:53

oreo could I have one too whenever you have time, thank youThanks

I've had Labyrinth in my basket for ages and was wavering a bit but everyone seems to love it. Would it be good for a 12 year old? am sick of endless monopoly games.

ScornedWoman · 22/11/2013 10:54

Thanx to this thread, and the lovely people on it, I'm all sorted for the first time ever.
I've bought extra of a few irresistible bargains, and have decided to give them to Women's Aid, for local families fleeing DV over Xmas.
As I'm shopping for a 4y old DS, the bits I have are suitable for little boys, as that's all I've really looked at. I'm putting in the Rihanna perfume and Oasis watch, which should suit teen girls, but would appreciate a few more ideas.
I'm by no means well off, but can manage about a tenner, and would rather buy 2 or 3 things than 10 things from Poundland.
I'm quite unfashionable/out of touch; it's only through this thread that I've even heard of Squinkies/Lalaloopsy/Skylanders! I only really know what my own child likes.
I'm going to B&M for the first time ever, this afternoon, but much prefer shopping online. Things would need to have quick delivery, though, as I'm meeting with the WA worker next week.
Please spam me your ideas :-)

150 photos 6x4 on Snapfish for £4.99 through Wowcher for the next 3 days. Good for sending a few pics to relatives! Last year I choose about 20 photos, printed them all 6 times and bought 3for2 little photo albums from Boots and gave to Nans etc, they can then choose to file it away in a drawer or pull a couple out to frame if they wanted to. I think they were well received, i'm not sure if i'll do it again but this would make it a bargain gift

confusedalways · 22/11/2013 10:56

Dammit the festive feast thorntons hamper that was half price yesterday was on my list to buy! Anyone reckon it'll be on offer again? Wishful thinking.. Hmm Or any codes to make it half price?

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 22/11/2013 11:02

Has anyone seen any deals on Lindt chocolate? DP loves them so I'd like to get some for his stocking but they're a fiver a box!

ThisIsMeNow · 22/11/2013 11:07

Tanning set from COMPANY magazine arrived today finally so hopefully we'll start getting our freebies! Grin

platespinnermum · 22/11/2013 11:13

Here's a challenge for you lot!
I've completely fallen in love with the Maileg mice in matchboxes like these and DD would love one, but there's no way I can justify the price and DH is very Hmm about such frippery clearly wrong and missing the point. Am not really expecting anyone to find a bargainous place to buy them (although that would be wonderful) but was wondering if anyone has found a cheaper but similar product?

ApocalypseMeow · 22/11/2013 11:15

Toys r us are doing free delivery on everything this weekend

QueenofallIsee · 22/11/2013 11:16

Just got a good gift for my teenage DD - hair chalks for £7 from WOWCHER. Its a set of 12 all radical hair colours that they draw on wet hair and washes out...great for weekend and out by school!

ThisIsMeNow · 22/11/2013 11:16

Ooh plates im sure there was something similar on one of these threads? I'll go and have a little look...

ThisIsMeNow · 22/11/2013 11:18

This is what someone posted the other day...

Anyone who was looking for mice in matchboxes - Wilkinson have a cheaper version! Mice, rabbits and something else I have forgotten (stuffed animals with a tiny blanket, not real animals of course...!) in a box, which granted, is bigger than a matchbox but is still quite small. I think the label said matchbox animals. Or something similar. I realise this is slightly vague but I'm hidden mine away now so can't check. They're very sweet and reduced from £4 to £3. I spotted them today and bought a rabbit for DDs stocking.

Mercythompson · 22/11/2013 11:19

The book people have 3 for £25 on their children's book collections - so I just got 30 books for £25 - which is less than a £1 each - and FREE delivery - very pleased.

lucysmam · 22/11/2013 11:23

platespinner IIRC Wilko's have similar but a bit bigger animals in boxes but I can't find them on the website to link Confused definitely seen them in store though (have wasted away many an hour on the single toy aisle in there with dd2 Hmm )

ApocalypseMeow · 22/11/2013 11:27

In their Christmas range M&S have some things that may be good for stockings that are now half price like this little gingerbread man wash mitt down to £2 from £4 Here

ZIGGY911 · 22/11/2013 11:35

Thanks oreo, can now order few more bits.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 22/11/2013 11:37

Anyone know why camelcamelcamel would be showing the current price of the toot toot garage as £29.99 but further down saying £20.63. It's not emailed me as I set a price of £21. Have I done something wrong?

zipzap · 22/11/2013 11:37

janx try labyrinth - I think it is. Ds2 has seen something similar on a tv advert and also wants it, I haven't had a chance to check it out yet...

platespinnermum · 22/11/2013 11:39

Wow you lot are GOOD! Thanks Thisis & lucysmam for the Wilko tip, we have a big branch quite close so will check it out. I'm disproportionately excited about this!!

StarvingBookworm · 22/11/2013 11:40

Girl is it the cheaper price through a 3rd party new/used seller rather than Amazon itself?
