Any furby boom deals about?

CrocodileScream · 17/11/2013 19:10

Smyths had Furby Booms at £46 but I seem to have sold out. Next best I could find was Tesco at £49.99. I used by Clubcard points doubled up so got it for £27.

DreamlessSleep · 17/11/2013 19:15

is the snow globe still on offer at m&s?

lazzaroo · 17/11/2013 19:27

Bit of guidance please....remember Neds wristbands? Well, I'm going to order one I think for my nephew. He's 10 years old. Just deciding what to get printed on it!? Would his name be ok? Not really up on what's cool for 10 year old boys these days!

missmakesstuff · 17/11/2013 20:15

Thanks Huff, will look that up. I love my paperwhite, but am getting more and more frustrated, especially as the Nook seems such good value and I seem to really struggle to find good book on the Kindle - its all series of crime thrillers and romance - I can't find anything I want to read under £3, as when you have a reading habit like mine it gets a bit pricey!

I am sure I should be using mine better - annoyed I can't seem to get any really cheap books on it, seems like the Nook is going to be great for that.

MissBeehiving · 17/11/2013 20:16

lazzaroo - I got one for my DS1 who is 9.5 - the printing isn't really obvious so I did name

Lurleene · 17/11/2013 20:22

Just to say I luffs my Nook. Smile

Library books are easy peasy to download, UK Nook always has good offers and seems to price match Kindle book offers and Sainsburys e-books website is great too.

anotherglassofred · 17/11/2013 20:29

Playmobil Western Fort now on Amazon for £68 down from £95, cheapest I have seen.

NorbertDentressangle · 17/11/2013 20:36

The Book People have the Lego Ideas Book for £2.99.

Also the Hunger Games collection of 3 books for £4.99

Plus the codes mentioned earlier give you free P&P (ANGEL) and 15% off (CHIMNEY)

lucysmam · 17/11/2013 20:41

missmakesstuff register on EReaderIQ.co.uk for Kindle books. It has a load of freebies on it daily & split into categories (I download loads of fantasy/vampire/fairy/witchy ones). Some are absolute twaddle but there are some gems to be had too. & you can just delete the crappy ones. IIRC it sends a daily email too with ones from 'chosen' genres Smile

girlsyearapart · 17/11/2013 20:56

reastie the new look website is good.
I guess you could order tonight with the discount to collect in store then go & try on/return whatever when you go?

missmakesstuff · 17/11/2013 21:02

I just came on here to update the book people codes and to say that the Clarkes code BDAY has expired...boohoo, would have made the shoes I tried on yesterday just about affordable but still out of my league as dh hasn't had a paycheck in 5 months, lovely pair of brown ankleboots, sob...

Thanks Lurene and Lucysmam, I love that website, is great! And very excited about the nook, just seems really good value, I hope he is chuffed with it!

Rosie29 · 17/11/2013 21:04

Has anyone seen any Lalaloopsy dolls for a bargain price??
I am after a large 'normal' one, not the silly hair one, as you can tell I have no idea what it is but dd has been desperate for one for ages!

Nix01 · 17/11/2013 21:06

Thank you for that link and codes Norbert, duly purchased :D I'm addicted to online shopping

Theonlyoneiknow · 17/11/2013 21:08

Would those finger lights be suitable for party bags for 3 and 4 year olds?

Reastie · 17/11/2013 21:09

Rosie I think I saw a normal one in Sainsburys reduced a while ago, but no idea if they are still on offer there, sorry.

girl that's a fab idea, might see if I can do that.

BeaWheesht · 17/11/2013 21:09

Rosie I really don't know much about lalaloopsy dolls but B&m have the little brother / sister ones for £7.99, larger ones for £9.99 and I think the crazy hair one for £19.99 if that info is of any use.

BeaWheesht · 17/11/2013 21:10

theonly I'd say so - dd is just 3 and loves them.

Theonlyoneiknow · 17/11/2013 21:17

Thanks bea !

KittyMouseRocks · 17/11/2013 21:22

Are the popular fairies that fly the flutterby fairies or barbie mariposa...? Confused

LucyTheValiant · 17/11/2013 21:23

I am in search of a hedgehog microwaveable hottie that is under £10 and is not creepy. I have found one at Dorothy Perkins but it is a bit weird looking and has a bow tie - if a slightly less strange one could be found I would be eternally grateful!

Also I am thinking of making DP an advent calendar this year - has anyone seen any good sites with (very) cheap stocking filler-type things for men? I've only seen ones for children so far...

Ajaney · 17/11/2013 21:30
