Ooh, it's good to hear that about the Vertbaudet music set. DD (very nearly 2) is suddenly into making music and dancing around to it so hopefully she will love it and I will tolerate it

God this thread is leading me astray! DS now has dungarees, jeans and a music set none of which he needs on their way from Vertbaudet.

I couldn't get the code to work on my tablet either, but it worked ok when I placed the order using my phone (website on phone rather than phoning them to be clear!)

Vertbaudet only worked on my phone too. Was after a lovely hat, scarf & glove set for DS3. Happy to have it on its way for £9 delivered .

I'm trying to find and advent calendar for 18mo DD1 but I don't want s chocolate one. Just an old fashioned cardboard one with the wee pictures behind the windows. Had anyone seen any?

We have a cloth one that's a tree and you put a decoration on each day, would that appeal Girl?

Obviously more expensive that a one off cardboard one, but it comes out every year so good value in the long run.

I got a lovely winters scene cardboard advent calendar last year from amazon. I prefer not to have the chocolate ones. This year dh talked me into a Lego City one

Just do a search in 'traditional advent calendar' in amazon and there are a few lovely options.

WH Smith usually have traditional advent calendars in.

Bloody OH and FIL have decided they both want the Alex Ferguson book. I thought I had finished shopping! anyone seen it cheap as need 2 of them?

We get a traditional one every year from the local garden centre. Maybe yours will too?

The Alex Ferguson book is bleeding awful. Absolute mince. Buy them something else instead.
