SarahPercyAndBill · 15/11/2013 15:44

Argos having 50% off on selected toys. This Peppa Pig Bathtime Boat is £12.59 with free delivery. Cheapest I've seen it.

GlitteredPinecones · 15/11/2013 16:06

I went to town today and Home Bargains had 'Scene it Glee' for £2.99.

I've finally had a refund from bastard Murad. They replied to one email from me but not the second I sent. Fabulous customer service Hmm

Not had the bird scarf yet though.

I know they're only a couple of pounds, but does anyone know where the best place is to buy those gigantic gift bags from? Need to get quite a few (because I've bought so much stuff this year!) so want to get the best price. I think they were 2 for £1.50 in Home Bargains so will get those if there are no better deals around. Thanks :)

GlitteredPinecones · 15/11/2013 16:07

Oh yeah, my finger lights haven't arrived yet either. They were meant to be for my nephew but I can see me having to play with them and not wanting to give them away Grin

zipzap · 15/11/2013 16:09

kateecass it's worth looking on eBay for the red gingham etc ribbon - there are loads of people selling it.

Price varies hugely depending on how wide you want it and how much you want but for example you could get 5m for about £2.60 which seems a good price for that amount but you could get a 10m roll for about £3.20 which is a better deal. And that's just from looking at a list of buy it now options that have been sorted by lowest price first (but unfortunately it's not clever enough to figure out the price/length value and sort them in that order so you need to rootle through the list a bit to check you're getting the best deal for the amount of ribbon you want and the amount you want to pay it swim...

zipzap · 15/11/2013 16:10

Doh stupid autocorrect - iykwim rather than swim!

Saw these on the HDUK website so apologies if they have already been posted Santa Is Coming To... Books reduced from £4.99 to £2.99

girlsyearapart · 15/11/2013 16:14

Anyone looking for fingerprint charm jewellery try a company called pastelprint.
Not bargainous but much much better quality than similar priced small print franchise

sweetsomethings · 15/11/2013 16:15

im another who had just canceled the direct debit with my bank for the Mag Subs. I have not recieved any of the free gifts anyway. Have not bothered phoning of emailing them

craftynclothy · 15/11/2013 16:15

festivefranny Home Bargains had some Xmas activity books in for 69p. They had pages to colour and stickers. I got one for each of my dc (6 & 4). It was advent themed but they also had a Snowman one (just one in my store though so I got the advent ones as I didn't want the kids fighting over them!)

girlsyearapart · 15/11/2013 16:17

Also is jamtoast still around?

GinotPrigio · 15/11/2013 16:19

Sorry just realised not all of those Santa books are reduced to £2.99!

Nix01 · 15/11/2013 16:25

AndiMac, thank you for the Lego link, have bought some more.

Does anyone know of a TKMaxx code going? TIA.

MrsAlwaysRight · 15/11/2013 16:26

I have also used pastelprint and would recommend. I bought DH the fingerprint cufflinks a few years ago and the quality is great.

notso · 15/11/2013 16:27

Been RL shopping today to Cheshire Oaks outlet park and nearby giant M&S was mostly horrendous as DS2&3 were screaming if in the buggy or bolting when out of it Hmm Sad
However any one wants Molton Brown stuff and is near I got two Myrrh and Musk hand washes and a matching hand cream for £33, just one hand wash and a hand cream in a set are £36 on the website Shock
It as worth the all the tuts from miserable shoppers and the £4 wasted on Christmas deely-boppers that DS2 NEEDED then broke within 30 seconds!

pigleychez · 15/11/2013 16:29

festivefranny Pretty sure I saw some in Wilko's the other day when in there.

Thanks for the BHS hamper heads up Reastie

My fox bag came today. I bought woodland themed stationary in Wilko's to go with it. :)

Doorbell was going nonstop with parcels today :)

FESTIVEFRANNY · 15/11/2013 16:34

Thanks for all the tips about colouring book suggestions. Must remember to get them next time I'm town

Thanks
HenriettaPie · 15/11/2013 16:36

Nobloodymore- did you have a code to make them £2.49 each? It's saying they are now £4.16 excluding delivery!

AuditAngel · 15/11/2013 16:37

Ladies, I have been telling a colleague how wonderful you all are. She is looking for apple gift cards for her brothers, I said if anyone had them on offer, you would know where.

Can you help?

MellowMarshmallow · 15/11/2013 16:40

Someone mentioned a fitbit. I can't find it on the last thread. Has anyone got any suggestions of where to get the best deal?

dandelionsRflowers · 15/11/2013 16:46

Lego Duplo Train £6.49 on Amazon, amazing price. DD would love it but maybe a bit old at 4.5.

Rubybrazilianwax · 15/11/2013 16:56

I bought the lego train this morning for £8.60 on amazon, but it was free delivery. The free delivery is not an option at the new price. Just another way amazon catch us out I suppose. Good for anyone who has prime though
