Just to let you know that ds has some of those cute knitted style animal leggings from Amazon (were a gift). Wore them against his skin and came out in a massive spotty rash that stopped exactly where the pants ended and lasted a few days Sad I did spot a review on one pair saying something similar and that they small very funny Hmm though I didn't notice that. DS doesn't have sensitive skin and it was his first reaction (just to warm you so you don't all have spotty babas on Boxing Day!

Wiggy29 · 14/11/2013 21:35

Argh- smell funny and warn not warn you!

Wiggy29 · 14/11/2013 21:35

Very sleepy, that should be 'warn' not 'warm' you. I'm giving up and going to bed.

Happy it's more me than him - he had happened to mention his dock was on its last legs, it's an actual apple dock from when they made their own in abut 2005, and I got him an iPhone 5 last Xmas so seems pointless to get one with the 30 pin adaptor as everything is moving to the lightning one. There doesn't seem to be a massive amount of docks out there yet with the new adaptor and Bose is really really good, we have wanted a Bose sound system for a wee while, so I'm going with that.

I'm very glad you are happy - trying to work out who you are and drawing a blank though! Cloooooo? Grin

Thanks for the pound world tip too - no idea if we have one anywhere close, off to google..l

WeileWeileWaile · 14/11/2013 22:02

Pogosticks - Thank you so much for the studio ghibli link. DH will be chuffed when he gets them Smile

RhondaJean · 14/11/2013 22:04

Well you might want a Bose soundock version 2 then, it's an older connection?

There are other very good speakers out there as well, but we have been eying one of these up for a long time.

janx · 14/11/2013 22:07

Trazzletoes · 14/11/2013 22:16

Oh no! I hope I haven't started Space-gate! Didn't even get them myself so I hope they are lovely for you all and stock doesn't run out and they don't cancel everyone's orders etc etc looks sternly at Murad...

JaquelineHyde · 14/11/2013 22:17

Just another opinion on the baby leggings...I bloody love them Grin

You can get them on Ebay as well for a couple of pence cheaper and free delivery.

I have 8 pairs so far for 6month old DS and they are fabulous. My Mum also has them for my 9month old niece and neither of us have had any problems with them at all.

They are super comfy and stretchy, look fab with the designs on the bottom area and wash really well.

Highly recommended by me.

Slainte · 14/11/2013 22:19

Good luck crafty, hopefully Hearst will see sense.

KittyMouseRocks · 14/11/2013 22:48

Phew - just catching up!!!! Thanks to whoever posted about Inkoos in The Works - I actually got a mini one for £4.99!!! For info, they also have heaps of American stuff in store.

A friend of mine said that she thought debenhams were having a 40% off flash sale on Saturday...? Not sure how true this is though!

Slainte · 14/11/2013 22:54

Flowers trazzletoes just ordered the SpaceNK for myself.

zipzap · 14/11/2013 22:55

Theladywithgreennails bhs had some nice throws that have been on offer recently (40-50% off) and they seem to be having quite regular promotions at the moment. Lots of them were the supersoft fleecy stuff but plenty of other styles too, starting about £10-12.

Tk maxx has also had some good throws - my mum bought some naice velvety ones that were much smarter than the bhs ones for £20 (made by opulence). And debenhams often has good throws too - last couple of years they've also had their supersoft fleecy ones at about a tenner in the run up to Xmas.

Penguinbeaver · 15/11/2013 03:08

thelady Matalan had lovely super soft Christmassy fleeces for £5 and 3for2 worth checking out.

Can anyone recommend lp/album cover frames? I'm looking to frame my DB band lp Thanks

MooseyMoo · 15/11/2013 06:33

And Photoworld are linking to Cardtown with 10 photo Christmas cards for £4.99 which is apparently 60% off. I haven't used these before, but might give them a try.

Code to use is CARD10

SarahPercyAndBill · 15/11/2013 08:08

Received my flavourly hamper - I don't want to complain but what a massive let down! That cordial retails at £4, the coffee looks to be a single pot serving at best, the chicken rub can't retail for more than £2 at max and everything else is little snack pack size, at most a quid or so retail. I feel robbed paying the discount £7 price - I would be livid if they tried to charge me £15! I'm sure they paid a lot less than retail prices too!

Melissakitkat · 15/11/2013 08:10

The book people have another offer - £4 off £30, £5 off £35 and £6 off £40 plus free p&p - offer code fairytale ends midnight tonight xxx

VoldemortsNipple · 15/11/2013 08:21

If you have a Costco card, I got some lovely thick double layered velverty throws for £15 which have probably paid for themselves already, due to saving in the central heating.

Theonlyoneiknow · 15/11/2013 08:24

notso · 15/11/2013 09:00
