I need help [useless emoticon], I can't get the dunelm mill code to work. Anyone managed it or have a new code please?

Would make my 2 beanbags a much better price.

Thanks

Excited to be shopping and in this thread Grin no hope of keeping you with you seasoned shoppers though Wink.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 06/11/2013 22:17

Went shopping in RL this afernoon (as had an hour of child-free time -whoo hoo!). Explored our new Debenhams and found a Mantaray duvet coat that had 25% off. I googled for a code (as 25% off is just not enough after months on these threads Grin) and found a 10% one. Theirself-service computer had crashed but the manager happened to walk by so she personally sorted it for me. £98 coat on its way to me for £58! This was despite the fact that the 10% code didn't actually work, so she just applied another one for me! It may have had something to do with my passing comment about the fact that they had the saddest cd playing ever and that it was making me want to leave (because of dh's death 6 months ago - sad songs are hard to hear). Anyway, great customer service and very excited about the new coat for the school run!

cuddlymoomoo · 06/11/2013 22:18

Thanks janx - got the snitch on a chain after someone here pointed it out, which was great of them. We've had that plaster cast stuff before and I'm utterly rubbish at them - older kids all went through the HP phase, chucked it all, now youngest is keen Sad. I'm mostly after figures and things to fill up a Hogwarts trunk that I'm going to make him. Anyone seen a frog/toad mould so that I can make chocolate frogs without having to get a second mortgage?

Coveredinweetabix · 06/11/2013 22:23

Playmobil winter wonderland advent calendar down to £11.99 on Amazon which is, I think, about its best price in the last couple of months

ASDA has 25% off a lot (maybe all) of its Lego

Does anyone know if Amazon are price matching Argos' 3 for 2 like they did last time? I can't get onto the Argos website as its too busy.

janx · 06/11/2013 22:24

cuddly - I got some figures from the shop cybercandy. They came in a ball and cost about £3.50. Have managed to get a few of the films second hand and cheap. I also got a some dressing up stuff. Let me know if you find anything bargainous

AuntieMaggie · 06/11/2013 22:24

Here you go cuddly

Snowgirl1 · 06/11/2013 22:27

Tried ordering those cute animal post-it notes from two of those links and they all sold out both times - the bargainous mn effect! Found some more here and ordered some, but just realised they're from Hong Kong so who knows whether they'll get here for Christmas.

InTheRedCorner · 06/11/2013 22:27
Thanks
WannaSplitAPineapple · 06/11/2013 22:28

I managed to miss all of the last thread! Not a bad thing as it was giant and coloured like the op post. It was a bit obvious when I was trying to read it in work and people sitting across the room could read it coz the text was so big!

I've just ordered the toot toot train set for £30 from amazon, seems to be the lowest price. I was tempted by the airport and garage too but I really do have enough for DS.

AChristmassyJerseySpud · 06/11/2013 22:28

Ok ladies body shop glitch

go to body shop add 2 of the £25 gift sets to your basket

then add two of the £5 love cards

Put in the code sparkle

whole lot will come to £12.99

no idea if they will honour it but worth a try!

cuddlymoomoo · 06/11/2013 22:30

Thanks Auntie Maggie! Can I ask a really dim question now? Where do you get really thin foil to wrap chocolate sweets in so they look like they're 'proper' and not just made by a cheapskate? Wink

cuddlymoomoo · 06/11/2013 22:31

Hits head on table - that'll be ebay too won't it

cuddlymoomoo · 06/11/2013 22:33

janx - £2.99 for one chocolate frog on that website! We were in Harry Potter land in Florida earlier this year and one of the staff in Honeydukes gave me a pile of sweetie shop bags but I can't find them or I would do a Honeydukes gift box (on the cheap of course!).

LottieDidIt · 06/11/2013 22:36

Thanks so much for fab new thread Reastie Flowers Wine Flowers

just noticed the bear nibbles link isn't working, also just seen the Dogger book in the op that I'd completely missed before and DP has been going on about getting it for DC so thanks for that!

whoneedstosleep · 06/11/2013 22:38

I have a 25% off ELC code if anyone is still looking

IHeartKingThistle · 06/11/2013 22:43

Kiddizoom at 26.66 on Amazon Shock

pics are rubbish though!

Oreocrumbs · 06/11/2013 22:48

Just tried the body shop glitch but it just takes £10 of and gives a free tub of cream, check out price £55.

RosieBloom32 · 06/11/2013 22:49

.

NannyPlumForPM · 06/11/2013 23:02

Hope you get the body shop honoured!!

Rugbylovingmum · 06/11/2013 23:04

Hi all, I have a couple of requests - I hope that's okay.

My dad has asked for slippers - they have to be 'proper slippers' i.e. not mules or boots. He wants them to have a rubber/waterproof sole so he can wear them on the garden path when he goes to close up the greenhouse but to be soft as he gets very sore feet and the ones he has aren't cushioned enough. If you have seen any nice comfy ones please let me know.

I am going to buy my mum a ticket to The Lion King at Edinburgh Playhouse (and get DP to buy one for me for my birthday in Jan Wink) - can you get deals on tickets anywhere or is it best to go through ticketmaster?

Thanks! Off to read through all the deals I've missed today.

cuddlymoomoo · 06/11/2013 23:06

Rugbylovingmum - I think the tickets are all full price, I didn't see any discounts when we went a couple of weeks ago.

AChristmassyJerseySpud · 06/11/2013 23:07

Thanks Nanny Plum!!

Me too... mainly because i want the vanilla set for me!!

neddle · 06/11/2013 23:08

Not sure about the body shop glitch, but try code 14319 for £15 off a £30 spend.

Rugbylovingmum · 06/11/2013 23:10

Thanks cuddlymoomoo, thought that would be the case but best to check before shelling out. Was it good?

Snowgirl1 · 06/11/2013 23:10

On one of the threads ages and ages ago, I can remember some people talking about a Naked wines offer if you spent £50(?) at Lakeland. Does anyone know if it's still on?
