Amazon have their lord of the rings corsair ship down to £59.99 from £90. Apparently the best price it's ever been, have just ordered for my ds's birthday.

Oreocrumbs · 08/11/2013 07:41

Lego Friends Advent calendar £13.33 back in stock, be quick!

Oreocrumbs · 08/11/2013 07:43

Penguinbeaver · 08/11/2013 07:44

The Grinch dvd is £3 on amazon with free delivery

Oreocrumbs · 08/11/2013 07:48

Tesco have their gift sets half price at the mo. I'm going today to pick up an order so I had a quick look and using the cc boost, I'm going to get £20 worth of sets for (well free) a £5 voucher!

Picking up little lynx sets for £3 and a few girly smelly things for the children.

Black Friday last Friday in November, but Amazon (and ergo everyone else!) will start price wars in any case round about now....

Can anyone remember which magazine is Conde Nast? I've just cancelled the dd whichever it is, (not even knowing whether I've received anything or not, what with being in a different country to my parcels Grin) The Hearst one (is that Company?) is still showing as nothing having gone out....I vaguely remember setting one of them up to start later, so will hang fire with that one.

Thanks Flowers for Lego friends advent calendar, have ordered it from Amazon.it where the discount is less, but hey ho, at least I don't have to pay their postage to Europe that the wily bastards have introduced this year.

I am seriously cross with Murad now, just one email from them cancelling, and still no refund, or reply to my (3 Blush) emails querying why. I have the urge to name and shame and as soon as one of those Crap Customer Service threads appear, I will!!!

Book people code for 15% off - STRAW

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 08/11/2013 08:11

Now doubly pissed off at where we live - miles way from a bloody Ikea so no goat and Ocado dont deliver here so no bargain Gruffalo set which DS would love!

Marne · 08/11/2013 08:11

Black Friday was disappointing last year, most of the items on offer had been on offer weeks before so not really one off bargains, I hardly bought anything as it seemed to be mainly tat that they obviously could not sell and wanted to get rid of. The year before was much better (more lego etc..). For this reason I have not held back on the Christmas shopping as chances are there wont be anything worth buying on Black Friday.

Crutchlow35 · 08/11/2013 08:21

I agree, Black Friday was very disappointing last year.

Dillydollydaydream · 08/11/2013 08:25

I bought dd the Professor Layton Miracle Mask 3ds fame from John Lewis for £19.97
It's £34.99 is Argos so a good price.

*This isn't the newest professor Layton game that was released today.

Dillydollydaydream · 08/11/2013 08:33

I've tried to place my second order with Book People using ANGEL for free delivery but it won't work. Can I only use it once does anybody know or am I doing something wrong?!

janx · 08/11/2013 08:36

Anyone know where where's the cheapest place to buy vodka?

DreamlessSleep · 08/11/2013 09:05

You can only use it once, I tried it twice.

DreamlessSleep · 08/11/2013 09:07

Will AUTUMN work instead?

CatAmongThePigeons · 08/11/2013 09:22

Survival I think we have the same child Grin

Monopoly Junior party is £8.20 delivered on eBay couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else when I've looked.

BuffyFairy · 08/11/2013 09:39

Thanks Reastie as always for another fab thread.

I have a spare ELC code, PM me if you want it. I have Entertainer codes too but the spend is high and discount not great. It might help someone.

I bought the whisky stones and cheap books from the last thread so thanks to those posters.

Murad cancelled my order too. Need to check and see if they've refunded me.

I haven't received the free fisher price toy, is anyone else still waiting?

DD has enough presents for Xmas and her birthday next yr Blush. I must have saved at least £200 and can't buy anything full price anymore.

Trazzle did you buy a goat on your Ikea trip? Grin

AnneOfCleavage · 08/11/2013 09:44

pingusmumtoo · 08/11/2013 09:45

notso · 08/11/2013 09:49

Grin at janx!hunting for cheap vodka at 8:36am!
I did quite well out of Black Friday last year, I got DD an £86 ICE watch for £18 and a signed One Direction CD for £3.99 which was the highlight of her Christmas, I got my mum a half price food processer and a few random bits and bobs as well as a load of cheap nappies (still have 2 in nappies DS2 isn't bothered by potty training at all).

happylittlebear · 08/11/2013 09:52

My eBay Xmas pjs came today, they are lovely but the sizing is absolutely tiny! So glad I listened to everyone and sized up. DS is 3.5 and I got him age 6-7, they will fit him this year but not next. I ordered them on 28 Oct so haven't taken too long to come.

So many bargains thanks to these threads, I'm truly in the spirit now!

Other than my goat, what do I need from my IKEA trip today?

janx · 08/11/2013 09:53

GrinNotso - I do my best thinking at 8.30am. Off to Lidl to check out their spirits
