CatAmongThePigeons · 07/11/2013 21:37

That wobble deck looks fab for possibly dyspraxic DS1. He has problems with coordination but I've spent a fortune on him already. Decisions decisions

ColdCadence · 07/11/2013 21:37

For those of you making hampers I bought these baskets from Argos. They are great quality and size. - That is my first ever link so I hope it worked!

Also, not bargain related, but I feel really 'behind the times' because I don't know what the significance of moustaches is - I see them mentioned on this thread all the time - mugs, pyjamas, jewellery etc. Is it fashionable to wear stuff with moustaches on?! tia for any info Grin

WannaSplitAPineapple · 07/11/2013 21:39

I've just used quidco, it did take a few tries but it opened the site I wanted after a few tries.

Marne · 07/11/2013 21:45

Cat, I have just bought the wobble board for dd1 who has dyspraxia traits and low muscle tone, she uses something similar with physio so thought I would buy it, was too cheap not too.

Crutchlow35 · 07/11/2013 21:47

Has anyone seen a nice, pocket sized note book/pen? I need something for a work colleague. Must fit in a pocket as she doesn't carry a handbag. Thanks.

ValiumQueen · 07/11/2013 21:47

Movember I think. To raise awareness for testicular cancer? I think so anyway.

IHeartKingThistle · 07/11/2013 21:51

That wow toys bath boat is BRILLIANT. Can barely get DS out of the bath now!

cosysocks · 07/11/2013 21:56

Sigma · 07/11/2013 22:00

Megaday6 worked

cosysocks · 07/11/2013 22:11

I'm looking for a men's dressing gown for around the £20 mark, any ideas?
I ordered these from amazon and I'm quite impressed with the quality one each for my parents.

NeverQuiteSure · 07/11/2013 22:12

Thanks mum2jakie for the M&S minecraft tshirt link. MEGADAY1-5 were all expired, but MEGADAY6 worked for me.

Thanks also to 3bunnies for the very cute animal post it notes. I'm not usually an impulse buyer, but I woke up this morning to discover that I'd ordered 3 packs as I sat up with one of the DC in a sleepless fug last night. I had completely forgotten Blush I'm kind of hoping they don't arrive in time for Christmas as I get through loads of those little post it notes and I'd enjoy using them. I daren't follow the other post it related links!

MollySJ · 07/11/2013 22:14

Wowsers thanks for the CosiCoupe heads up - DS sorted! Was buying anyway and now saved £20ish. Hopefully DH will be pleased although he said earlier I had to curb it as he's had 7 parcels turn up today (I'm at mums for the week) ooooooopsies Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 07/11/2013 22:25

Crutchlow35, home bargins have a gorgeous set of 3 cath kidston style small notebooks in a set for about 60p and matching set of pens for same price.

girlsyearapart · 07/11/2013 22:27

Tesco have the tubes of sweets & chocolates for £1 in, selection boxes 2 for £5 and chocolate coins on 3 for 2 price.

Haven't bought any yet I don't trust myself not to eat them!

Right dh has a December birthday- he always wants designer pants & socks. Calvin Klein or similar.

Any ideas or do I have to scour the tx max shelves as usual..?

RhondaJean · 07/11/2013 22:36

I went into tesco earlier and I can report that the selection box offer is crap this year. The three included are the middle sized cadburys one, the mars minis one which is a little packet the same shape as the ainsley Herriot couscous comes in, with ten mini mars treats, and a little milky bar one which I haven't looked at properly. They are all £2.75 each so on buy 2 get 2 free four for £5.50, not bad at that price but there were very few in stock in my local tesco as well and it's quite big. I was there first thing this morning looking for stuff for work.

RhondaJean · 07/11/2013 22:37

Girls, matalan usually has ck boxers in, or the last few years I've got DH Xmas pants from debenhams in one of the blue cross weekends, sometimes they have 40% off ck underwear and designers at debenhams socks.

dementedma · 07/11/2013 22:37

Would the wobble board be ok for an adult?
20 year old dd has back and balance problems - this might encourage her to do her Physio

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 07/11/2013 22:37

My photography magazine arrived today!

Wobble board essentially educational/therapeutic for ds2 with wobbly legs, so I'm not counting it as one of his gifts. If you are still me Cat (and it seems likely, once again?!) then you need to buy it Grin.

I want to buy some smallish but lovely gifts for my wonderful band of helpers who have helped me get through this year. Maybe upto ten quid each? They are between 30 and 40 and are all busy working mummy types. Any ideas gratefully received.

RhondaJean · 07/11/2013 22:39

Ohhhh also I tried to post from work at lunch but my work of wouldn't let me post! The monster high die-ner is currently £17.99 on amazon, it's usually £29.99, comes with a draculaura doll, and that's the cheapest price I've seen it at anywhere.

I've decided I have already over bought for dd2 though!

dementedma · 07/11/2013 22:41

survival isle of Skye candles are affordable and smell fabulous. All hand made and very quick delivery. Winter warmer one smells so christmassy!
