I'm looking for a toy tablet, or a toy smart phone might do for a 1.5 year old.
Not a super dooper innotab-like thing. But under £20 and preferably with some learning: shapes/colours, that kind of thing.
this sort of thing
Anyone got one their DC like?

I've bought 2 year old DS this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LeapFrog-My-Own-Leaptop-Green/dp/B0038AJYSS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383691628&sr=8-1&keywords=leaptop

He had a smaller laptop/tablet style thing a year ago but it's since died so this is an upgrade of sorts and will hopefully last him a while.

I wasn't really looking at anything so involved - but that does a lot for the price, it's made me think. Thanks :)

It is a bit, isn't it? Smile. I went for it as it will last ages. His old one just sang nursery rhymes and played music. It just needs new batteries but I'd be willing to pass it on if you're interested?
Maybe this would be better? www.amazon.co.uk/Vtech-Electronics-Connect-Smart-Mulit-Coloured/dp/B005P5WX2I/ref=sr_1_20?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1383753630&sr=1-20&keywords=leapfrog

Elc learning pad at £20 seems to be simple and tablet like with numbers, shapes, colours etc

oo that's a kind offer enormouse, thankyou, but that ELC one looks perfect (I hadn't seen that when I was looking - thankyou Penguin).
