The knights castle is OOS at the moment. Shame because DS was looking at one in Wilko for £25 and was very disappointed it was "so many quids."

Found this on Emma Bridgewater

www.emmabridgewater.co.uk/en/uk/tea+oranges/tea+oranges-gift-collection/invt/1teo011579

Mug, Tea Towel, Handwash, Bar of Soap

Added together should be £46.95. EB doing it for £34.95. But with code at top of the page, NC15PP it comes to £29.71. (code gives you 15% off and free p&p)

You could either separate the gifts, as all great, or keep it as a set.

Can I get a bit of help for a present for DSis please? Late 30's, single and likes eco stuff. She's not into chintzy stuff at all and can afford what she wants, so I always find her difficult to buy for and I need to get her a few things as she's visiting us fpr Christmas.

Not entirely sure if this was single use or not, but code below is for 25 off a £50 spend at isme. They do collect+ but I couldn't get it to work for some of my items, postage is £3.95 otherwise. Still, got a lot of stuff for £25.

Cat Have a look at Natural Collection It's all Fair Trade and Eco-friendly and they have some lovely jewellry, clothes and general decorative stuff.

Anyone seen any good deals on scooters? DS got one for Christmas last year, as used and abused it over the last year and it's on the way out so needs to be replaced. He's 6 so would want a 2 wheeled one, as hard-wearing as possible!

Marking my place, and very excited, as I've just driven past a new Home Bargains near me!! Even better, it's 2 minutes away from B&M Smile Roll on Wednesday when DD's back to preschool!

Henrietta I'm in NI but I was looking a Santa comes to Northern Ireland one rather than Belfast/Ulster. We don't live in Belfast and DS wouldn't understand the Ulster connection. But unfortunately they don't seem to make a Northern Ireland one.

ARGH! I sent the Ts&Cs from the sign up page across to Hearst to counter the "12 month minimum" they sent me. I have just received this in reply:
"Thank you for your recent email.

I am very sorry for any confusion.

I can confirm that as the promotion includes a free gift, the minimum subscription period is 12 months.

As advised by my colleague, you can cancel the instruction at any time with your bank however, we do require that the gift is returned in the condition it was received to our following freepost address:

Hearst Magazines UK
FREEPOST MID21595
Market Harborough

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Kind regards

Anyone got any ideas of what I should say in response or shall I just ignore it?!

Report
Hawkmoth · 04/11/2013 12:22

I've ordered it anyway. Fingers crossed it comes through at that price. Although it might have to live at Grandma's!

Report
HenriettaBrain · 04/11/2013 12:25

Hippohero, I'm the same. We aren't from Belfast, and DS wouldn't have a clue about Ulster! They also had a colouring book of Santa is coming to ireland, if that's any help.

Just ignore it Moody. None of my free gifts have required a signature so as far as they know I haven't even received them. Also it doesn't say that in the t&cs so what her colleague says means bugger all!

Modykat- which magazine was it for?

Report
Moodykat · 04/11/2013 12:48

That was for the Cosmo subscription with the free perfume. Which I have used!
I haven't tried to cancel the Zest one yet as I'm not sure they've taken any money from me.
I will just ignore it then. First instinct is to write something really shitty back but I guess best not to?!
