Yep agree with oreo last time the argos did the 3 for 2 I ordered my 3 items on click and collect. I then by chance checked Amazon and it was cheaper for me to buy all 3 from amazon. Thank goodness I just did click and collect so was able to just not pick them up.

Reastie I would be happy to help with checking some of the 2nd post links - perhaps as Pacha suggested we could take a letter each or something?

Please don't get stressed over needing to update things - you have a life outside the thread! If people are going to get irritable because in a list of discounts that has been provided free to them for their benefit, one may not work, then they are lacking in the Spirit of Christmas, that's all I can say.

Leilandri · 05/11/2013 21:53

Strange request, but I recieved my flavourly box today.
I was hoping to get the bacon and maple flavour popcorn (to go in DH's bacon themed hamper) but instead I've recieved oak smoked cheddar Hmm
Would anyone that has recieved the bacon flavour be willing to swap? I'm happy to reimburse postage? Flowers in advance!

Reastie as amazon prices go up and down so often, I'm wondering if it's worth listing anything from amazon in the op?

Just a thought - its often a get it now or miss the price anyway, and it would take away a lot of the huge post, also save folk getting ratty when they click on something that's now three times the price.

Theimpossiblegirl · 05/11/2013 21:57

Or leave Amazon links in the post but say it's a guide price? This thread is also great for ideas and prices will fluctuate.
:)

Reastie

I've collated all the Bookpeople codes from this thread here, to make it a little easier for someone searching. I tried checking which ones were valid but it is proving difficult Confused as it won't let me remove codes! Maybe if someone could update once they find an expired code?
Hope this helps a little bit!

My Murad order got cancelled, which is a bugger as it was perfect for my friend. I've put in another order for the book and the used the telegraph code. Let's see if that's ok!

comeandgo · 05/11/2013 22:00

The main problem isn't Reastie not keeping the thread up to date, its people not helping her.

Everyone says they want to help her, but a number of people have suggested different ways of keeping the thread moving efficently. The main ones being helping people learn about using the 'watch' function, using F3 (on windows) to search within a thread and so on.

These things would be a big help to stop the threads filling up so fast and would help Reastie keep on top of it.

But they get shouted down ironically by the people who say they want to help Reastie.

And now we have the threads being filled up even faster by individual posts re. expired items/price changes. Whilst they are well meaning and only come from good intentions, it just means Reastie will have to start a thread even sooner.

Eventually these threads will desend into chaos and end up with everyone giving up.

Got my Vaenait Christmas PJs today. I agree they are small made but I did size up so very pleased. Thanks to OP. Cheers Wine

Oh for goodness sake.

Snowgirl1 · 05/11/2013 22:05

Thanks TheOnlyPink just bought the Peppa Pig art case as a stocking filler.

Also, thanks to whoever posted about the M&S 25% off shoes & boots - I'd been looking for a pair of cute boots for DD and found the perfect (hopefully!) pair on M&S

SpookyRestingFace · 05/11/2013 22:07

leilandri don't know if you are aware of this for your bacon-themed hamper? Grin
