Got my Murad cancellation now. Have emailed about reordering using single codes.

I have been cancelled too, and sent them a stroppy email back pointing out their terms and conditions, and the fact that the items are still on their website, and also that however they are playing it, it isn't good netiquette to cancel orders with no real reason other than their tech team arsed up and allowed codes to stack.

(I didn't even want the bloody stuff, but principles is principles....)

I get really cross with companies not honouring orders when they've cocked up. still bitter about Asda

I got £30 of clubcard vouchers yesterday which was a surprise - I should point out that they were old ones not used and tesco had reprinted them. We don't really shop in tesco so they must have been really old!
So far so good.
I doubled up online...this was my first mistake.
They tried to send my the codes 3 times but there was problem with the system and so in the end I got them via e mail.
This took 3 hours to sort out.
I took them to the shop his morning...thought I could buy gifts for pils and sil (drink, DVDs etc)
Not only did they send my vouchers for toys - which I had not asked for - but the vouchers cannot be spent on food, drink (except finest range wines and champagnes) or DVDs/CDs.
It's ridiculous. There are many complaints online about this.
So, I have had to get £60 of toys I do not want and the dc don't need.
It's so obvious they are peddling their own brand tablet (hudl) which is in the offer (surprise surprise) and the finest ranges etc.
Bit fed up really.

I've just also had my Murad cancellation. They're certainly being disingenuous about it as they say the Zest gift is out of stock, but say nothing about the free gift they were offering when you bought book - is that out of stock too, and if not why aren't you honouring that part of the order?

Sphul I've started to buy my parents experiences for presents so one year it was a roast dinner at local posh restaurant, river cruise, afternoon tea & admission to a NT house. Basically I spoil them with something they would enjoy and remember but wouldn't buy themselves as too expensive (not if you bargain hunt!)

Went into Sainsburys and they still had Octopod for £19.99 and wooden garages for £11.99. Was with both DC and DD went straight to the Hello Kitty Bed Warmer and was VERY taken with a mini lala loopsy doll. I have finished for her but as it's the one thing she has asked for I think I'll get it for her. I've just seen x4 mini lala loopsy dolls for £10 at Entertainer - does anyone know if that's a good deal? Luckily she found the larger dolls freaky I do too

I tried reordering just with the 40% and it's no longer valid. I suspect this is their real reason - they didn't count on the volume of orders and have just rolled out different excuses.

Compare that with gracious way the robot gate company reacted - even though that was a price error and murad isn't - really has put me off their products.
