I can't find anything in the t&c listed on murad website to support their email. They state samples are subject to availability and only one voucher per transaction. However, I define the magazine "gifts" as samples. They do not have a specific section in t&c on "gifts". The mag gifts also have sample trial sizes, so they can't define as vouchers can they?

Also this: "Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the Returns section of the Site, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place."

If they take your money, they've accepted your order, no?

Just been to Aldi and got a variety of doodleopaedia books - £3.99 each - original, dinosaurs, animals, and just to give the feminist threads something to discuss - for boys and for girls. Dd1 has the original which she enjoys (currently oos on book people and £6.47 on amazon.)

Also (and reason for trip) got some wooden creative blocks for £9.49 for 120. They are very similar (although a few mm smaller 11x2x0.8) to Kapla or citiblocs which are more than twice the price. As dd2 has no knowledge of the brand names I think she will love them and will give the jenga a break. A wooden domino run for the same price and some 50p chocolate coins might also have fallen into the trolley.

Can anyone recommend a good family board game to play on Christmas Day.

We always get a game for the afternoon fun. I already have Disney Trivial, Disney Monopoly, Cranium & Creationary from previous years.

Something new would be great. DD1 is 8.9yrs & DD2 will turns 2 at Christmas.

Not at all Christmassy but if anyone likes post it notes and needs some for a home office or similar. If you order 2 packs from Viking at the moment they will send you a £10 Boots voucher.

Also it may be worth everyone signing up to Viking as they usually do a free tin of sweets in December with every order no matter how small. I can't promise they definitely will but could be worth a punt.

I have just been to Ikea and seen The Goat, it is indeed very special .

Ikea have some very cute tumblers with baubles on for 80p, and reindeer shaped pasta, and really nice, large, white and silver snowflake design tins full of ginger biscuits for £2.99.
