DH is hard to buy for and when I ask him what he wants he's not very helpful. Any ideas gratefully received.

Downstairs where did you get the hot sauces set? My DH loves stuff like that.

autumnstar do you mind telling me what watch you bought? I think my dh might like something like that.
I'll probably get my dh clothes, we have a great local independent menswear shop that does Gant, etc and the guys there know exactly what my dh wears so they'll pick me out a few things, very handy Grin

Anyone seen nice cufflinks that could be personalised. Nothing on Not On The High Street caught my eye, still looking at Etsy.

Looking for something modern looking but that could be engraved with script writing. A lot seem to do the stamping which I don't like.

AutumnStar I got it from Ace catalogue, think it was about 12.99!

Dh is the hardest person I have to buy for, if he wants something he'll buy it for himself generally. He's not impressed by anything designer of flashy and he works away a lot so 'experience' things I've bought him in the past have expired before he has the chance to use them.

As I'm pregnant with our first this will be our last christmas just the two of us so I'd like to spoil him but I'm completely stuck for ideas.

So far I've got him:

Stocking -
Jokey becoming a dad book
Giant box of his fav sweets
Lego Dobbie key ring (in joke)
Travelo, for taking aftershave away with him
Shaving smellies

Presents -
iPad case
Chanel aftershave

Help! Grin

Sorry for the late response Ruby.

I got him a Garmin Forerunner 110. They're about 80-100 quid online.

This year:
Nice, casual clothes (he only ever buys himself work stuff)
A sudoku book (stocking)
A rubix cube (stocking)

Erm...possibly the Asterix book as suggested upthread.
Still thinking other than that.

Previous years hits have been a nice belt (Hugo boss), running watch/heart monitor, sports bag/gym gloves and, amazingly, a lego pirate ship (aimed at 14 years +). He laughed at the lego joke, thought it silly but still then spent hours putting it together and really enjoyed himself.

DH is French and doesn't really get the whole stocking thing - was a bit bemused last year when I bought him face cream and ear plugs (both brands he uses!) as he thought they weren't very "presenty" Grin
