18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

creepycadence I don't live near a home bargains - should I move???
Am near a B&m though so might have a look in there.

Just had a camouflage tarpaulin delivered for ds's survival kit and £18 in club card vouchers :) also ordered 'wiggly worms pack of 2' from concepts4u at amazon and there's only one so am not impressed.

Oh and yesterday I got ds a pop up 2 man tent for £14 from sports direct. They had loads around that price.

Rugbylovingmum · 28/10/2013 14:32

Thanks for alerting me to the Tesco boost today - I had £24 worth of vouchers so I have doubled them up and got a plastic playhouse for DDs for £2. They love playing outside, even in the cold and rain, and I'm hoping it will give them a bit of shelter. If they enjoy it we'll prob invest in a bigger wooden one next year but this is a fab extra joint xmas pressie for them Grin. Also picked up a couple of puppets from Zulily for DD1 for the puppet theatre the in laws are making.

Sat and wrapped my pressies yesterday and I'm nearly there - just need cheap running bits for Dneice, a jumper for my dad and something for my nana and my mum (anyone spotted a cheap spa day/vouchers for up north?). I've never been this organised so early or so cheaply so thanks all. I have loads of teaching/exam prep in Dec so I'm glad I won't be stressing about pressie shopping.

Rugbylovingmum · 28/10/2013 14:37

Thanks Pogosticks - I'll go and check them out now.

tootssweet · 28/10/2013 16:20

Just shamelessly place marking so that I can try to pick up some bargains. Not as organised as you lot this year!

ClaimedByMe · 28/10/2013 16:25

I have my eye on the screme eggs too

twinklytoes · 28/10/2013 16:42

delurking to thank for all the bargains!

just been looking at the spa days for £20 but nothing local but have bagged a wine and brewery tour for 2 for £9 on lastminute. DSis will like that one!

anyone got any recommendations for a tea set for an 8yr old? everything I seem to find is too small and aimed at 3yrolds.

also, DD2 is after a doll that comes with a bedside cot (think you attach it by placing under mattress and then the cot is adjacent to bed). Google isn't very helpful with my vague description! Anybody seen/got one?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2013 16:55

Thanks for all the great suggestions for threadbaby.

I want to get bath toys that don't squirt as the insides get all black because we use oilatum in the bath. What should I search for? I want different animals from ducks!

angelabbie · 28/10/2013 17:01

If anyone on here is local or near to Bromley I have some left over stock of some bits from dotcom gift shop at half the price. I used to sell on line but need room for my party business. I have vintage christmas wrapping paper, christmas bunting, space boy and dolly lunch boxes and a selection of other bits and bobs. If anyone is interested pm me with your email and I will send you pics and prices.

notso · 28/10/2013 17:14

Didn't bother with the screme eggs, was hoping they'd be about £10 [optimistic]

GirlWith, I saw a Pinterest link recently that suggested just gluing up the hole before use.

Maranello · 28/10/2013 17:20
