18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

notso · 28/10/2013 07:37

Lots of toys on Amazon Lightning Deals today, including a very tempting Mickey Mouse play set but am not supposed to be buying anything else for DC!

Ilikesweetpeas · 28/10/2013 07:47

Claimed- I think it's only selected toys in the boost

FriskyHenderson · 28/10/2013 07:51

Can someone please talk me through the clubcard boost and Hudl deal - apparently I have £63 of vouchers - how best to spend them?

A Hudl or the Avoca - given it's half the price to start off with. .. except I presume I could get the Hudl for less with the vouchers (and order online etc)

Or a Nintendo 2 or 3 DS??? It'll be for all the DC to share (ha ha) while waiting at gym/cubs/orchestra/swimming etc.

DreamlessSleep · 28/10/2013 07:58

Id go for the hudle, depends on what you want it for and what you have already.

Nix01 · 28/10/2013 08:12

I still can't see the toucanbox or phone cover on o2 priority, can someone show me a link please?

FriskyHenderson · 28/10/2013 08:20

candy crush kids games mostly, whatever's free at Google Play Grin

Play.com have Christmas jumpers at 9.99 free delivery. Much much nicer than the Primark ones.

supermariossister · 28/10/2013 08:21

frisky,
I would say the tablet, lots of free games or apps for a few pound and the ability to watch iPlayer YouTube so lots more useability. the ds new games you are looking at between twenty and thirty pound, second hand or older games still around the 10 mark. if the hudl is better price option to then that's beet option

dandelionsRflowers · 28/10/2013 08:21

Christmas jumpers and hoodies £9.99 on Play today. Free del too.

dandelionsRflowers · 28/10/2013 08:24

Cross posts with Frisky. I like the hoodies. Ds might actually wear one he will wear one

pigsinmud · 28/10/2013 08:28

Moshi monsters micro advent calendar is now £10 on Amazon. It was £12.95 yesterday.

babyseal · 28/10/2013 08:33

I think a few people have been looking for puppet theatres on these threads? Zulily had a nice looking one today for £24.99, with puppets around the £7-8 mark. Feel free to use my link if you decide to buy Thanks Grin !! here

AllIWant85 · 28/10/2013 08:54

I finally have something to contribute! :)

Vtech Toot Toot Train Station £33.33

Vtech Toot Toot Construction Site £19.99

Both showing as best price on camelcamel

missmakesstuff · 28/10/2013 08:57

Grr...I ordered the bargainous Princess fake lego set from letterbox over a week ago - nothing had gone from my account and no email etc so I tried logging into the site, nothing recognised.

SO, thought in a muddle of bargain present buying I had forgotten what I had paid for again and tried to reorder - it now is showing at full price when in my basket, £8.00 advertised. Just sent them an email, will be really unhappy if I don't get it at the price on there!

In additional bad parenting news, DD has seen a 'dolly with a camera' in TK Maxx, about a month ago. We ignored her pleas at the time, hoped she would forget etc...it is now in her letter to santa, plus she hasn't stopped telling everyone she meets how she is getting one for xmas. She is 3,5, we have no idea what she is talking about (I think it could be a barbie type thing) and I cannot imagine she is going to forget - my best hope was that the fake lego would distract her!

notso · 28/10/2013 09:00

Nix01 I can't do a link as am on IPad but if you are using the app either use the search facility and type in the brands so toucanBox or Wrappz or go onto go onto ALL and scroll through until you see them.

Lilbup · 28/10/2013 09:11

We bought a Hudl and then took it back because we mainly wanted to use it for making Skype calls but the picture was so dark it was pointless. Otherwise it was a nice tablet though.

Kiddicare have 15% off a £100 spend until 3rd November. I was going to buy a car seat for £89.99 anyway and then realised that by buying something else for over £11.01 I'd actually save money Smile.

Huge thanks to everyone on these threads. I've been lurking and have nearly finished my Christmas shopping now and have found it to be ridiculously stress free thanks to the ideas on these threads! Thanks

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 28/10/2013 09:18

Christmas Eve, Snow In Love, Apple & Pine Needle, Christmas Cookie,
Red Apple Wreath

whoneedstosleep · 28/10/2013 09:27

Oooh that's a nice candle gift set.

Managed to get the Star Wars lego advent calendar in the clubcard boost so happy with that. It was down to £19.97 too.

Mama1980 · 28/10/2013 09:30

Dusty tilt and fly in amazon lightening deals today at 3pm as well as some other Disney bits. My ds wants this so I hope we keep power until then! (We have a tree down a cross our road, cables mixed up with it but so far we still have electricity....)

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2013 09:32

What in gods name do you buy for a baby that'll be 3 months at Christmas?! Only got Emily one thing so far, but DD1 has loads of toys, tomy eggs etc.

I know she's only young but I feel like I've got to get her a few things

whoneedstosleep · 28/10/2013 09:37

girl what about bath toys, a collection of books, clothes, jumperoo/activity station? Stuff that you might be buying anyway? I was like that last christmas with DS2

Pogosticks · 28/10/2013 09:41

Girl with the yellow hat, my friends and I had a small baby at Christmas 3 years in a row. Friend 1 got a 2nd hand play gym which was then given to my baby the next year and other baby the year after. Mainly so siblings could help unwrap something for the baby!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2013 09:41

Bath toys is a good idea as our current ones are going a bit minging. We've got a jumperoo etc but did want to buy the WH Smith book bundle of That's Not My books but its been sold out for months! Shock
