Oh Moosey thanks so much. Is on dd's amazon wishlist and I thought £35 was quite good but £20 is a bargain! Thank you Flowers

MooseyMoo · 18/07/2013 21:13

Smile no problem

Chockywockydoodah · 18/07/2013 21:47

DD will love this Charlie & Lola 5 books & CD set from the Works for £6.99 (original RRP £34.99)!

TerraNotSoFirma · 18/07/2013 21:49

Love the busy books, DS got one for Christmas last year.

Just bought the Minnie Mouse one at the works
(The when its gone its gone section had some good stocking fillers)

And got 3 busy books at asda, disney princesses, Winnie the Pooh and cars.

Have only got one my nephews present to get now, 5yo, no idea what to get him.

Still to get my own DC's main presents but the doubling up of tesco points in November will take care of that.

LifeIsSoDifferent · 18/07/2013 21:59

Terra were the Disney princess busy book £5 in asda?

So how is everyone getting on with their shopping?

PoppyWearer · 18/07/2013 22:13

Doing really well. Reckon I have sorted DS completely, and stockings for DD and DS. Advent calendars done. Some small presents for DD, although her main present is TBD (she is old enough to have an opinion).

I also had a gazillion birthdays to buy for this/next month and have sorted them thanks to this thread. And party bag stuff.

Oh and next year's birthday for DS sorted too. Blush

I don't have to buy for many grown-ups, thankfully.

Oreocrumbs · 18/07/2013 22:18

M&S free delivery code FREEHOME. Just bought a few baby outfits for my impending baby niece (eek).

I've had a mooch around their sale - there are some nice photo frames, candles and such on offer. I didn't buy any of them though, not sure of who I will need what for adult wise, but might be worth having a look if you have someone.

Theonlyoneiknow · 18/07/2013 22:30

I found those busy books brilliant for potty training! Every successful sit on the potty then DS would get a new piece from his busy box!

Chockywockydoodah · 18/07/2013 23:21

If anyone sees a Dora busy book, please do let me know! Thanks!

Reastie · 19/07/2013 05:43

Thanks for the works tip, the code MYSTERY has been extended until sunday. Just got 2 minnie mouse busy books, 2 gruffalo activity books, the charlie and lola set mentioned upthread, a magnet book, and this wind up car old macdonal book for under £24 using the save5 code too.

Just found this thread and I love it! Wish DS was a bit older as he is too young for playmobil etc just yet. I have just bought the Mr Men set though - thanks Moosey!

I will keep a look out for offers. One thing i found is that The Book People have a boxed set of 15 Roald Dahl books for £15.99 or thereabouts (which I may buy for myself the present drawer)

LaTrucha · 19/07/2013 07:32

M&S Free delivery code Shock[faints]

Tinkerisdead · 19/07/2013 07:48

Is this the dora book you mean? here

PoppyWearer · 19/07/2013 07:51

Whilst we're on The Works, I also think that this colour-in card castle is a fab present. It's the kind of thing you can bung out in the garden and put the DCs out there with some paints and leave them to it.

In fact I may buy it and do just that when I next babysit my niece!

Oreocrumbs · 19/07/2013 08:15

It hasn't arrived yet, but I've ordered that castle Poppy. Just for some summer holiday activity (lazy parent) Grin

Oreocrumbs · 19/07/2013 09:29

Duplo my first zoo £14.97

Oreocrumbs · 19/07/2013 09:30

Moshi monsters moshling zoo £7.50

HenriettaPye · 19/07/2013 10:22

That's the exact same Dora busy book I got, but mine was either 5.99 or 6.99 in tk maxx

Reastie · 19/07/2013 11:39

Tassimo coffee maker arrived today for BIL/SIL but box is all battered Confused - what do you think the chances are they will replace it with a nice boxed one Hmm . Don't really want to give them one in a battered box might have to keep it for myself

LifeIsSoDifferent · 19/07/2013 12:04

MooseyMoo · 19/07/2013 12:31

Ooh, Asda, sort out your product descriptions!

Just found My Busy Book for Hello Kitty and Disney Princess

Free delivery too. Have also ordered Thomas the Tank Engine and Disney Cars (these appear when you search for 'my busy books). Sorry chocky couldn't find Dora.

ratbagcatbag · 19/07/2013 12:55
